    Abstract: A watch dial is provided comprising a plastic or metal base plate. The base plate has thereon an uneven portion embodying a surface design, letter, window, symbol or mark. The uneven portion is formed by exposing photosensitive resin to ultraviolet light. The surface of the photosensitive resin portion of the base plate is metal-plated.
