  • Patent number: 6817660
Abstract: A vehicle rear structure is provided in which, when a seatback is tilted forward and folded, an upper surface of the seatback and a rear floor positioned behind the seat form a flat surface. A bridge plate is extended between the folded seatback and the rear floor. The bridge plate is rotatably attached to the front edge of the rear floor. A portion for lifting a front edge portion of the bridge plate in conjunction with the uprising movement of the seatback is provided at the rear of the seatback to prevent the seatback from getting stuck on the front edge portion of the bridge plate.

  • Patent number: 5992331
Abstract: A table for use in a motor vehicle having a cargo room includes a top plate for use as a lid for the cargo room and legs pivotally mounted on the reverse side of the top plate. When the table is removed from the cargo room and the legs are projected from the top plate, the table is used as a table per se. The top plate can be closed with respect to the cargo room by a lock. A flexible tubular member is mounted on the reverse side of the top plate and extends away from the lock along the top plate. A string extends through the flexible tubular member and out of an opposite end thereof, and has an intermediate portion engaged by a holder on the reverse side of the top plate. The string has a distal end connected to a hook which is normally inserted and stored between the flexible tubular member and the top plate. The string is also stored on the reverse side of the top plate without being entangled by the lock.

  • Patent number: 5802714
Abstract: The invention presents a method of finishing a printed circuit board by using a soluble chloride added to a soft etching solution, the soluble chloride provides a source of chloride ions that beneficially combine with plated copper to form a protective CuCl layer. The protective layer is desirably used to prevent overetching of a copper film in a via or through-hole of a printed wiring board.

  • Patent number: 5584523
Abstract: A tonneau cover assembly, such as for a compartment at the rear end of a vehicle includes a housing which has an opening in one side and a rotatable spool therein. A tonneau cover, i.e. a cover, extends through the opening, is secured to the spool, and wound on the spool such that the tonneau cover is movable between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position wherein the tonneau cover is fully wound onto the spool. A torsion spring biases the tonneau cover towards the fully retracted position. The tonneau cover includes a generally rigid flap attached at an outer end of the tonneau cover which has a handle thereon. Two stop members are attached to at opposite sides of the flap, and they are sized to prevent the flap from fully entering the opening and winding onto the spool.

  • Patent number: 5472563
Abstract: The present invention provides a printed circuit board which is high in acid resistance, mechanical strength at high temperature and bond strength, a method for making the printed circuit board and an apparatus used for making the printed circuit board. The technique of the present invention is characterized in that a metallic film having metal particles discretely distributed therein is provided on a roughened surface of copper circuit pattern on an insulating substrate which has been oxidized to form copper oxide and thereafter reduced.

  • Patent number: 5182121
Abstract: A hot press including a displaceable sleeve for surrounding materials of a multi-layer substrate under a reduced pressure condition, a gas pressurizing condition and a heating condition with thermal plates. Upper and lower sealing units seal an interior of the sleeve, with a mechanism lowering and raising the sleeve. A pilot check mechanism prevents a lower bolster from raising/lowering upon the reduced pressure condition and the gas pressure condition, and a retainer maintains the lowered or raised condition of the sleeve. The multi-layer substrate is formed under the reduced pressure condition and the gas pressure condition. Accordingly, the atmosphere and moisture between the materials of the multi-layer substrate and volatile composition are removed. Additionally, a void generated during the heat and pressure process by the heating plates is eliminated from the multi-layer substrate.
