  • Patent number: 7796004
Abstract: An ignition coil of a dual ignition type that can prevent outputs from becoming unbalanced due to a difference in floating capacitance on wiring that connects secondary output terminals and ignition plugs together, thus realizing balanced outputs. A coil assembly housed in a housing as a coil case has a primary coil and secondary coils disposed concentrically with the primary coil. The secondary coils are comprised of two coils wound in opposite directions with the center of winding width being a boundary. The center of the winding width of the primary coil is shifted from the center of the winding width of the secondary coils by a predetermined width so as to balance outputs from the two secondary coils. A casting material is filled into a gap between the housing and the coil assembly and gaps which the coil assembly has.

  • Patent number: 6855409
Abstract: There is provided a method for connecting an insulator coated wire with a conductive member while keeping the electrical resistance low and enough joint strength at the joint section therebetween without removing the coating film of the insulator coated wire beforehand. The conductive member has upper and lower pieces which pinch the insulator coated wire, and a gap between the upper and lower pieces varies at different locations. The wire and the conductive member have a good electrical connection at a region of the joint section where the gap between the upper and lower pieces is narrow. In addition, the connection strength of the wire and the conductive member can be enhanced at a region of the joint section where the gap between the upper and lower pieces is wide.

  • Patent number: 6832382
Abstract: A disk device includes a stock unit with multiple disk holders. When one of the disk holders is selected, the disk holder is moved so as to allow transport of the selected disk to a rotational driving unit. After the selected disk holder has stopped moving, a guide member and a transporting unit are brought closer together to nip a disk held in the disk holder, thereby restricting the disk. A driving unit 50 is then moved to a driving position overlapping the disk which is held in the disk holder, thereby preventing interference between the disk and driving unit. The disk is then transported to the driving unit. Thus, interference between the disk and the rotational driving unit or other structures due to vibrations of the disk within the stock unit can be prevented.
