  • Patent number: 6160465
Abstract: A soft magnetic core is substantially cylindrical and a linear-shaped coil conductor is inserted through a hole in the central portion of the soft magnetic core. A hard magnetic material sheet has areas which are magnetized in a thickness direction thereof and the areas are arranged in strips so that a magnetization direction of adjacent strips is mutually opposite. The hard magnetic material is wound on the outside surface of the soft magnetic core and is fixed to the soft magnetic core. The direction of the areas formed as strips of the hard magnetic material is substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the coil conductor.

  • Patent number: 6143406
Abstract: A magnetic composite tape for inhibiting radiation noise and a radiation noise inhibiting component using such a magnetic composite tape which can be easily attached to a cable and has a high radiation noise inhibiting effect are provided. A magnetic composite tape for radiation noise control has an elongated shape, and includes a magnetic band member and a metal foil provided on the surface of the magnetic band member. The magnetic band member includes a rubber or a flexible resin and ferrite magnetic powders. One side of the metal foil in a width direction projects from one side of the magnetic band member. An adhesive is applied on the other surface of the magnetic band member. The composite tape is wound and attached with the adhesive applied on the other surface of the magnetic band member at a location on a cable, such as an interface cable, a head cable (power supply cable) or the like, which is to located close to an electronic apparatus containing an oscillation circuit.

  • Patent number: 6054649
Abstract: An insulated wire with a noise-suppressing function includes a ring-shaped magnetic core, a coated wire inserted into the hole of the ring-shaped magnetic core, and a securing member for securing the ring-shaped magnetic core to the coated wire. The inner diameter of the ring-shaped magnetic core, namely the diameter of the hole, is set smaller than the outer diameter of the coated wire. The coated wire is formed of a pair of parallel conductive wires, a wire-coating member for coating the pair of conductive wires, and a sheath for covering the wire-coating member. The sheath is removed at one end of the coated wire. A part of the conductive wires which is coated only with the wire-coating member is inserted into the hole of the ring-shaped magnetic core.

  • Patent number: 4493007
Abstract: A noise eliminator mounted from the exterior to a flat cable connecting an electric circuit to thereby bypass noise conducting through the flat cable.Feedthrough capacitors are provided at a substrate, feedthrough terminals to be inserted into the capacitors are held by an insulator, at the upper ends of the feedthrough terminals are provided sharp furcate insulation displacement connection portion, and a cover insulator jig for press-inserting the furcation of each insulation displacement connection portion into the flat cable is provided. The sharp furcation of each insulation displacement connection portion pierced into the flat cable nips each cable conductor to be electrically conductive and the cover insulator and insulator are fixed by a holding means to keep the cable conductor and insulation displacement connection portion in conductive condition, whereby noise conductive through the flat cable is bypassed by the feedthrough capacitors.

  • Patent number: 4374369
Abstract: An electromagnetic interference suppression filter for use with electric circuits including a filter unit comprising a pair of capacitors provided with through holes extending through the axes thereof, respectively, a substantially U-shaped penetration shaft having its two legs fitted through the through holes, respectively, and a ferrite bead mounted on at least one of the two legs of the penetration shaft, the filter unit being mounted on a metal plate by fitting the two legs into holes provided therein, one electrode of each capacitor being conductively connected to the leg, while the other electrode thereof is conductively connected to the metal plate, respectively, the filter unit thus integrated being easily mountable on a printed circuit board or the like thereby resulting in an electromagnetic interference suppression filter of a simplified construction suitable for mass production and having high filter characteristics.
