  • Patent number: 5847888
Abstract: An optical system for a TV camera is provided which includes an escutcheon, an FB adjusting ring, a bracket, and retainers. The escutcheon has disposed therein a lens. The FB adjusting ring is installed on the escutcheon to be movable along an optical axis of the optical system. The bracket has mounted thereon an image pick-up device and is disposed to be movable to or away from the escutcheon according to the movement of the FB adjusting ring for adjusting an flange back (FB) distance. The retainers retain the bracket on the escutcheon at two support points in optical alignment with each other. Each of the retainer includes a screw and a spring. The screw fastens the bracket to the escutcheon. The spring urges the bracket against the escutcheon. With this arrangement, the adjustment of the FB distance is achieved by rotating the FB adjusting ring without any backlash in movement of the bracket.

  • Patent number: 5801931
Abstract: An inexpensive DC power source apparatus is provided which realizes a countermeasure against high frequency and redundant operation for improving reliability by using a simplified circuit construction to thereby reduce the number of parts. An input voltage follow type current controlled boosting chopper and a current feedback type self-running inverter are used in combination, and output voltage stabilization is accomplished by utilizing the voltage stabilizing function of the boosting chopper and current balance during parallel operation is accomplished by self-balance due to an impedance drop in the self-running inverter, thereby realizing the inexpensive power source apparatus in which the number of parts is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5739853
Abstract: A device for supporting an optical system of a television camera has a pair of positioning holes, formed in a bracket holding an image pickup element, which are fitted respectively on a pair of positioning pins formed on a rear side of an escutcheon holding a lens, thereby positioning the image pickup element in a horizontal and a vertical direction. Rattling of the bracket in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the optical system is absorbed by a pair of plate springs, and also rattling of the bracket in a direction of the optical axis is absorbed by a pair of coil springs, thereby enabling a high-precision adjustment.

  • Patent number: 5105091
Abstract: A non-contact type automatic multi-point diameter measurement apparatus for measuring diameters of a single crystal ingot pulled up in a single crystal pulling apparatus, adapted to measure the diameters in a real time manner without physically coming in contact with the single crystal ingot, comprising: a light emitter having a length substantially greater than the general diameter of the single crystal ingot and adapted to shift in the direction of the axis of the single crystal ingot; an optical diameter measurement device looking toward the light emitter across the single crystal ingot, adapted to shift together with the light emitter so as to always look toward the light emitter across the single crystal ingot, located at such a predetermined position relative to the light emitter and the single crystal ingot that at least the light emitted from both ends of the light emitter can reach the optical diameter measurement device without being intercepted by the single crystal ingot, and adapted to optically

  • Patent number: 5097365
Abstract: Automatic tracking apparatus includes a playback head, a driver for driving the playback head, and a controller for controlling the driver. The playback head is arranged to play back the information recorded on an arbitrary track on a disk-shaped magnetic recording medium. The driver is arranged to cause the playback head to move on the disk-shaped magnetic recording medium approximately in the radial direction. The controller causes the driver to move the head from an arbitrary track to the desired track step-by-step, sampling the output from the playback head within a predetermined range. Thus, the playback head is located at a position corresponding to the maximum level from among the sampled outputs.

  • Patent number: 5066439
Abstract: A continuous spin-draw process of making dimensionally stable polyester fiber having high strength and low shrinkage by melt spinning polyethylene terephthalate and drawing comprising multiple drawing stages of at least two stages where the spun yarn is passed from the takeup roller to a first pair of drawing rollers, then to a final pair of drawing rollers, then to a pair of relaxation rollers and then to yarn take up means; the surface temperature of said final pair of drawing rollers being maintained at 10.degree. to 60.degree. C. lower than the melting point of the drawn fiber; a non-contct type heated plate whose surface temperture is heated to 250.degree. to 500.degree. C. is positioned 20 to 100 mm separated from the yarn, thereby heating the yarn to obtain the relaxation heat treatment; and applying a commingling treatment to the drawn fiber by installing a commingling treatment apparatus between the final pair of drawing rollers and the pair of relaxation rollers.
