If a received email instructs one-touch key registration, mailing information including recipient information and one or more attached files can be obtained from the email and associated with a one-touch key. If reading of an original document by the image reader is specified by operation of a one-touch key, the mailing information and file information associated with the one-touch key can be read, an email can be created including the created image file and the one or more attached files, and the email can be sent to a recipient corresponding to the recipient information.
