  • Patent number: 11946151
Abstract: An electrolytic cell capable of simply electrolyzing carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide and oxygen with low activation energy, and an electrolytic device. The carbon dioxide electrolytic cell includes a cathode, an anode, and a solid electrolyte having oxide ion conductivity. The cathode is the following (A) or (B); (A) a metal and a first mayenite-type compound are included therein or (B) a metal and a second mayenite-type compound are included therein, said second mayenite type compound including a mayenite type compound having electron conductivity.

  • Patent number: 9519087
Abstract: The present application relates to retroreflective sheeting that is capable of use in a license plate and that can be accurately read and/or detected by an ALPR system. The retroreflective sheeting is a prismatic retroreflective sheeting that provides reduced retroreflectivity of infra-red light. The retroreflective sheeting can also be a prismatic retroreflective sheeting that exhibits reduced retroreflectivity of incident infra-red light and substantially unaffected retroreflectivity of incident visible light.

  • Patent number: 9110235
Abstract: The present application relates to retroreflective sheeting that is capable of use in a license plate and that can be accurately read and/or detected by an ALPR system. The retroreflective sheeting is a microsphere-based retroreflective sheeting that provides reduced retroreflectivity at high entrance angles. The retroreflective sheeting can also be a microsphere-based retroreflective sheeting that exhibits reduced retroreflectivity of incident infra-red light from high entrance angles and substantially unaffected retroreflectivity of incident visible light from entrance angles in the vicinity of the normal.

  • Patent number: 5714223
Abstract: A retroreflective article that comprises:(a) a retroreflective layer having first and second major surfaces, and(b) a cover layer juxtaposed against the first major surface, characterized in that:the cover layer comprises a surface layer, an optional intermediate layer, and a back layer, with the provisos that: (i) when the intermediate layer is present in the cover layer the intermediate layer contains a vinylidene fluoride base polymer as a primary component, and the surface layer and back layer each comprise a methyl methacrylate base polymer as a primary component; and (ii) when the intermediate layer is absent from the cover layer, the surface layer comprises a methyl methacrylate base polymer (A) and a vinylidene fluoride base polymer (F) in a weight ratio A:F of 55:45 to 95:5, and the back layer comprises a methyl methacrylate base polymer and a vinylidene fluoride base polymer with the vinylidene fluoride base polymer being the primary component.
