Abstract: In a beam member having a cylindrical beam main body with a first end portion and a second end portion in which respective end surfaces oppose and partially abut to each other in a circumferential direction of the beam main body to define a slit portion, a bracket member straddles the first end portion and the second end in the circumferential direction to be welded to an outer surface of the beam main body so as to cover the slit portion between a first welding portion and a second welding portion that weld abutting portions of the respective end surfaces of the first end portion and the second end portion.
