Abstract: There is provided a footwear having a three-dimensional shape that fits a foot of a wearer regardless of a stretchability of a knitted fabric. A seamless footwear (1) including an instep cover section (3) and a sole cover section (2) is provided. The sole cover section (2) is divided to a heel portion (20) and a sole main body portion (21). A setup portion (1S) or a knitting end portion is formed at a heel side end of the footwear (1), and such setup portion (1S) or the knitting end portion is extended in a height direction of the footwear (1) and also connected to the heel portion (20). The heel portion (20) is formed by a knitting of stacking a stitch row for plural tiers in a wale direction, and gradually differing the number of stitches in a knitting width direction of the stitch row when stacking tiers of the stitch row. The heel portion (20) is formed to a tongue shape in which a width gradually becomes narrower toward a heel side of the footwear (1) according to the change in the number of stitches.

Abstract: There is provided a method for producing a shoe upper capable of producing a shoe upper having a double structure with high productivity. A tubular inner side knitted fabric portion (19) to become an inner side portion of the shoe upper and a tubular outer side knitted fabric portion (11) to become an outer side portion of the shoe upper are knitted with the inner side knitted fabric portion (19) and the outer side knitted fabric portion (11) lined on left and right on the needle beds and with foot insertion opening corresponding portions (110, 190) of the knitted fabric portions (11, 19) connected (process ?). In this case, at least one of the inner side knitted fabric portion (19) and the outer side knitted fabric portion (11) is knitted using a fusible knitting yarn including a heat fusible yarn. The inner side knitted fabric portion (19) is tucked in an interior of the outer side knitted fabric portion (11) to form a shoe upper having a double structure (process ?).

Abstract: There is provided a shoe upper with high productivity in which a reinforcing section can be easily formed at the position of the heel or the toe, and a method for producing the same. A shoe upper (1) in which an instep cover section (3) and a sole cover section (2) are integrally knitted in a seamless manner is provided. The shoe upper (1) includes a pocket section (4) formed extending over a left side portion and a right side portion of the shoe upper (1) at least at a position of a heel or a toe of the shoe upper (1). The pocket section (4) is configured by an outer side knitted fabric portion (40) configured with a part of the instep cover section (3), and an inner side knitted fabric portion (49) directly connected to the sole cover section (2) and entered to the inner side of the outer side knitted fabric portion (40). A pocket opening (4i), which is an opening of the pocket section (4), opens at the side of the sole cover section (2).

Abstract: There is provided a method for knitting a knitted fabric, different from a conventional method, of forming a suppressing section for suppressing a stretch in the knitting width direction of the knitted fabric in the knitting process of the knitted fabric. One side in a longitudinal direction of needle beds (FB, BB) is assumed as a moving direction (DR). A suppressing section (4) is formed by repeating performing of a bind-off process, in which a first stitch (11) held on one needle bed (FB) is overlapped with a second stitch (12) that is proximate in the moving direction (DR) and a retaining stitch (15) is knitted following in a wale direction of a double stitch (13) of the first stitch (11) and the second stitch (12), and forming of a new base stitch (14) branched from at least one of the first stitch (11) and the second stitch (12).

Abstract: There is provided a method for knitting a shoe upper that can allow the reinforcement degree of the shoe upper to be changed with a small number of yarn feeders. A method for knitting a shoe upper (1) including an instep cover section (3) that covers a portion on an instep side of a wearer and a sole cover section (2) that covers a sole of the wearer is provided. The instep cover section (3) and the sole cover section (2) are three-dimensionally knitted in a seamless manner; and in the knitting process, at least one base section (10) configuring a part of the shoe upper (1) is knitted using a base knitting yarn containing a non-thermal adhesive yarn and a thermal adhesive yarn, and a reinforcement knitting yarn containing a thermal adhesive yarn is interwoven in the base section (10) to reinforce the base section (10). In this case, the number of knitting with the reinforcement knitting yarn with respect to the base section (10) is changed.

Abstract: There is provided a shoe upper that can be produced with high productivity. A heel cover portion (2) and a body portion (3) of a shoe upper (1) are integrally formed in a seamless manner by a knitting pattern. In the top section, a portion having a knitting width of greater than or equal to a predetermined width from an upper end to a lower end, at a position corresponding to a heel of a wearer, is assumed as the heel cover portion (2), and a portion including a remaining portion of the top section, excluding the heel cover portion (2), and the bottom section is assumed as the body portion (3), where an end in a knitting width direction of the heel cover portion (2) and an end in a wale direction of the body portion (3) are connected at positions of edges (L2, L3) on a side surface of the shoe upper (1) of the edges (L1 to L3) to become the boundary lines of the heel cover portion (2) and the body portion (3).
