    Abstract: An automotive interior component consisting of a resin core member and a surface skin member is fabricated by giving an approximately final shape to the surface skin member before mold press forming the resin core member with the surface skin member placed in the cavity of the die assembly for the mold press forming. Since the surface skin member is given with an approximately final shape in advance, even the most stretched part of the surface skin member would not break or wrinkle during the step of attaching the surface skin member to the resin core member as the latter is being molded.

    Abstract: To prevent the driver from being dazzled by the light emitted from a lamp unit of a sun visor provided with a vanity mirror. The vanity mirror and the lamp unit are covered by a folding light cover disposed between upper edges of the vanity mirror and the lamp unit and an upper edge of the mirror cover. When the mirror cover is pivoted open, the folding light cover is unfolded perpendicular to the flat surface of the sun visor body to partially cover the vanity mirror and the lamp unit from above and beside. When the mirror cover is pivoted closed, the folding light cover is folded down between the mirror cover and the vanity mirror or the lamp unit.

    Abstract: A butt arrangement of two trim parts to be attached on the inner surface of a body panel for use in a vehicle such as an automobile, comprises a first and a second transverse portion. The first trim part includes a first longitudinal portion extending along the inner surface of the body panel and the first transverse portion. The first transverse portion extends from an edge on the vehicle passengers side of the first longitudinal portion toward the body panel at an obtuse angle to the first longitudinal portion. The second trim part includes the second transverse portion and a second longitudinal portion extending along the inner surface of the body panel.
