    Abstract: The three piece automobile wheel is provided with an inner rim, an outer rim, and a center disc. The center disc is attached to a flange section of the inner rim and outer rim. A trough is established in the inner rim between the flange section and rim flange. The outer side-wall of the trough nearest the flange section is disposed off the rim center-plane towards the center disc, a valve opening passes through the outer side-wall for valve attachment, and the configuration allows the valve base to be disposed inside the trough. The center disc is provided with a through-hole region to expose the valve stem to the outside.
