  • Patent number: 9089644
Abstract: An administration apparatus to administer an inhibitor drug to a patient to inhibit cell division of a malignant cell includes an administration unit configured to administer the inhibitor drug to the patient; an administration timing storage unit configured to store an administration time to start an administration of the inhibitor drug; a time measurement unit configured to measure a current time; and a control unit configured to drive and control the administration unit so as to administer the inhibitor drug to the patient when the current time coincides with the administration time. The administration time is set on a basis of a predetermined phase of a cell cycle of the malignant cell.

  • Patent number: 5070494
Abstract: An optical pickup device for optically reproducing an information recorded on a recording medium of a magneto-optical disc or a write-only-read-many optical disc, includes a semiconductor laser, an objective lens for converging the laser light emitted by the laser on the recording medium, a photo-detector for detecting a light reflected from the recording medium, a beam splitter for leading the emitted light from the laser to the objective lens and for leading said light reflected by the recording medium to the photodetector, a first phase plate disposed between the beam splitter and the objective lens, a second phase plate disposed between the beam splitter and the photo-detector, and a rotator for rotate the first phase plate in such a manner than the beam splitter forbids to transmit the light reflected by the recording medium into the laser in a case where the recording medium is said write-only-read-many optical disc, and that the beam splitter allows to transmit the light reflected by the recording medi

  • Patent number: 4821252
Abstract: An information recording and/or reproducing apparatus reproduces a pre-recorded address information from a recording medium when recording and/or reproducing a main information signal on and/or from the recording medium, where the address information is pre-recorded on substantially parallel tracks of the recording medium with a predetermined period. The information recording and/or reproducing apparatus comprises a first circuit for producing a reproduced signal by scanning one track on the recording medium, a second circuit for generating an address interval signal having a predetermined level during a time corresponding to an interval in which the address information is pre-recorded on the recording medium, and a third circuit for passing the reproduced signal from the first circuit only during the predetermined level of the address interval signal so as to obtain only the address information reproduced from the one track.

  • Patent number: 4636625
Abstract: Less than half of a laser beam reflected from an optical information storage medium through an objective lens is detected by a detector having two light detecting areas. The sum of output signals from the light detecting areas of the detector is employed to detect when the objective lenas enters a focusing range. The difference between the output signals is employed to detect when the laser beam is focused on the optical information storage medium.
