  • Patent number: 6924588
Abstract: In a gallium phosphate crystal, a crystallographic Y-axis and a Z-axis that have been rotated about an X-axis counterclockwise through an angle ? is referred to as a Y?-axis and a Z?-axis, respectively, where the angle ? is in a range from 10° to 20°. A piezoelectric crystal material made of gallium phosphate is provided as a plate-shaped member which is elongate in an X-axis direction and cut from the gallium phosphate crystal parallel to an X-Z? crystal plane of the gallium phosphate, and the plate-shaped member has sides parallel to an axis that is obtained by rotating the Y?-axis counterclockwise about the X-axis in an angular range from 1° to 3°.

  • Patent number: 6777613
Abstract: A multifunctional crystal unit in which in the same container constituted by a container body having a recess therein and a cover, a plurality of crystal blanks are hermetically encapsulated. In the container, the crystal blanks are respectively held in different spaces, which are isolated from one another by a shielding member. Hereby, respective crystal blanks are electrically shielded from one another. As the plurality of crystal blanks, a crystal blank of AT cut for generating a communication frequency signal, and a tuning fork type crystal blank for generating a clock signal are preferably used.

Abstract: In a gallium phosphate crystal, a crystallographic Y-axis and a Z-axis that have been rotated about an X-axis counterclockwise through an angle &agr; is referred to as a Y′-axis and a Z′-axis, respectively, where the angle &agr; is in a range from 10° to 20°. A piezoelectric crystal material made of gallium phosphate is provided as a plate-shaped member which is elongate in an X-axis direction and cut from the gallium phosphate crystal parallel to an X-Z′ crystal plane of the gallium phosphate, and the plate-shaped member has sides parallel to an axis that is obtained by rotating the Y′-axis counterclockwise about the X-axis in an angular range from 1° to 3°.

  • Patent number: 6259030
Abstract: An electrical cable for high-voltage circuits is used in fixed type apparatuses such as office or home appliances. The electrical cable includes a tubular core portion formed of fluorine rubber and a magnetic material mixed therewith. The tubular core portion is wound with a conductive wire. The diameter of the conductive wire is set to be about 40 &mgr;m at the most, so that number of spirals can be more than about 10,000 spirals/m. Under these conditions, even when the electrical cable is flexed, spirals of the conductive wire are prevented from being superposed or stacked. The electrical cable can thus be provided with a high impedance and prevented from noise penetration.

  • Patent number: 5207157
Abstract: A control device for a stencil duplicating machine having a stencil or master making section, printing section, paper feeding section and discharging section in an integrated assembly. Whether or not a master sheet is wrapped around a drum included in the printing section is determined to execute adequate processes stably at all times. During a master making process, whether or not a used master sheet is on the drum is detected. If one is present, a discharge command is issued. If one is not present a master is made and placed on the drum. During a printing process, whether or not a new master sheet is on the drum is detected. If one is present, printing is executed. If one is not present, printing is inhibited.

Whether or not a master sheet is wrapped around a drum included in the printing section is determined to execute adequate processes stably at all times. A press roller and, therefore, the back of a paper sheet is free from smears otherwise caused by a part of an image area of the master sheet which protrudes from a paper sheet since the master making section is controlled responsive to detected paper size to ensure that the image area on a master sheet is not larger than the paper size detected.

  • Patent number: 4476411
Abstract: A thickness shear quartz crystal oscillator has two major surfaces which extend in the direction the of X axis of the crystal and which are 5mm to 10mm long. X-Z plane defined by the X axis and Z axis of the crystal is rotated about the X axis by 35.degree.08' to 35.degree.16' so that the major surfaces are parallel to an X-Z' plane defined by the X axis and an imaginary Z' axis inclined to the Z axis at 35.degree.08' to 35.degree.16'. One of the major surfaces is displaced in the direction of the Z' axis to thereby cause the side faces of the oscillator to incline at an angle of 4.degree. to 6.degree..
