  • Publication number: 20240265934
Abstract: An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a signal processing unit. The signal processing unit extracts, from a plurality of observation signals obtained by a group of microphones, voice signals respectively related to the microphones by machine learning. This allows desired signal output. Moreover, a person on the other end of the line can easily hear the voice of a speaker and cannot hear the voice of other speaker, thereby providing a feeling of security and high confidentiality for users.

  • Publication number: 20080273110
Abstract: An image which has not yet undergone image data processing and an image which has undergone image data processing are displayed so that a difference between the images can be readily recognized. An image obtained by means of a lens and an imaging element is subjected to specific processing, such as correction of red eyes, correction of soft focusing, and the like, in an image processing block. The image processing block displays the image data which have not yet undergone image processing and the image data which have undergone image processing, on an LCD side by side or alternately in time sequence. When a user has operated a joystick, the unprocessed image and the processed image, which are displayed side by side, are concurrently scrolled while maintaining a relationship of a parallel display.

  • Publication number: 20080204402
Abstract: A UI device of a digital camera has a display screen, a left-side touch strip provided outside of and on a left side of the display screen and a right-side touch strip provided outside of and on a right side of the display screen. The touch strips 22 and 24 can distinguishably detect a slide operation in a vertical direction by the user and a slide operation in a horizontal direction by the user. When a slide operation in the vertical direction is detected, a controller of the UI device recognizes the operation as a manipulative instruction in which the amount of movement is considered important, such as an operation for selection of items or scrolling of a screen. When a slide operation in the horizontal direction is detected, the controller recognizes the slide operation as a triggering manipulative instruction in which the amount of movement is not as important, such as a file deletion instruction or display or non-display of a new hierarchical item.

  • Publication number: 20080084398
Abstract: There is provided a user interface which enables a reduction in the chance of occurrence of erroneous operation. A display used for displaying various items of information, a captured image, or the like, is provided in the back of a digital camera. A first touch strip and a second touch strip, which detect sliding actions of the user's fingers, are provided on respective sides of the display. A control section displays on a display screen a plurality of items required to perform menu setting, and switches between a selection position for a first-level hierarchical item according to sliding action detected by the first touch strip and a selection position for a second-level hierarchical item according to sliding action detected by the second touch strip.

  • Patent number: 5758747
Abstract: A lift truck having a mast structure for supporting a liftable implement, a pair of lift cylinders for lifting the implement, and a mast support for supporting the mast structure on a front axle of a vehicle body. The mast structure includes a pair of masts extending substantially vertically and a cross beam for connecting the lower ends of the masts. The mast support includes a pair of support bodies fixed to one of the masts and the cross beam at a first fastened section. The mast support further includes a pair of brackets, each bracket being fixed to one of the support bodies at a second fastened section and connected to the front axle. Each cylinder is located adjacent to a corresponding one of the brackets and is located behind the corresponding one of the masts. The structure allows for simplified manufacture.

  • Patent number: 4539808
Abstract: A fiber control apparatus in an open-end spinning frame is disclosed. According to the invention, in an open-end spinning unit having a fiber passage through which fibers opened by the combing roller are carried into the spinning chamber of the rotor, one or more nozzles are provided in the unit, each nozzle having an outlet opening located adjacent to the fiber outlet opening of the fiber passage so that one or more streams of jet air, emitted from the nozzle or nozzles, direct and guide the fibers introduced into the chamber toward the interior peripheral surface of the spinning chamber of the rotor, thus causing the fibers to reach said surface immediately without being slowed or bent by ambient air streams within the chamber. Consequently, formation of yarn having bent or randomly attached fibers is substantially prevented, whereby the strength and quality of the spun yarn is greatly improved.

  • Patent number: 4510745
Abstract: An open-end spinning unit is provided which has a spinning rotor open on one side and a bottom wall and an inner wall. A closing element covers the open side of the rotor and includes a fiber supply duct. To enhance the air conveyance of fibers to the inner wall, at least one suction opening is provided downstream of an outlet opening of the fiber supply duct in the closing element so that an airstream directed from the outlet opening toward the suction opening is generated in the same direction as the direction of rotation of the rotor. This invention is applicable not only to a forced-exhaustion type of unit but also to a self-exhaustion type of unit.
