  • Patent number: 9477389
Abstract: A parameter controlling apparatus has a CPU 201 and operation input portion 302, 303 and 305 which include an operating area 303 whose operated position can be detected, and accept input operation. The CPU 201 detects whether the operation input portion is operated in the first manner or the second manner in accordance with the accepted input operation, and detects the content of the input operation of the operating area 303. In a case where the first manner has been detected, the CPU 201 also changes a value of a target parameter in accordance with the content of the input operation of the operating area 303. In a case where the second manner has been detected, the CPU 201 also switches a type of a target parameter in accordance with the content of the input operation of the operating area 303.

  • Patent number: 9405439
Abstract: It is determined whether user's operation performed on a control is normal or special operation. A function of increasing or decreasing a value of a parameter assigned to the control is performed if the user's operation is the normal operation. Another function, different from the function of increasing or decreasing a value of a parameter, is performed if the user's operation is the special operation. The control comprises, for example, a touch pad provided with a display device for displaying a current operating position of the control. If a user touches one point of the pad with its finger or touches one point of the pad and then continuously slides its finger on and along the pad, such user's operation is determined to be the normal operation. If the user touches or taps two or more points of the pad, such user's operation is determined to be the special operation.

  • Patent number: 8849436
Abstract: A system includes at least one controller device connectable to a computer where a mixer function is implemented by application software. The controller device includes: a communication interface connectable to the computer; a plurality of faders capable of remote-controlling parameters of channels assigned thereto; a channel shift button; and a bank shift button. The channels assigned to the faders are collectively shifted by one channel in response to an instruction given via the channel shift button, or collectively shifted by the one bank in response to an instruction given via the bank shift button. For each of the controller devices, identification information of the controller device and information of a first channel of all of the assigned channels is stored so that the stored information is used at the time of activation of the software for restoring previous settings stored at the time of last deactivation of the software.

  • Publication number: 20130113837
Abstract: By user's pinching operation on a slider 2e of a controller 2, it is judged that the slider 2e has been operated on two points, so that a DAW screen is zoomed in or out in accordance with the speed at which the distance between the two points has changed and the amount by which the distance between the two points has changed. By user's sliding operation on the slider 2e of the controller 2, it is judged that the slider 2e has been operated on one point, so that the function of the DAW is controlled in accordance with the speed at which the slider 2e has moved and the amount by which the slider 2e has moved.

  • Publication number: 20130082951
Abstract: One electrode and another electrode adjoining an upper end region of the one electrode in an operating direction of a fader sensor are divided by a boundary line extending zigzag in a generally M shape transversely relative to the operating direction, so that upper and lower apex portions of the one electrode and the other electrode bite into each other. Similarly, the one electrode and another electrode adjoining a lower end region of the one electrode each other are divided by a boundary line extending zigzag in a generally M shape transversely relative to the operating direction. As a finger touches the fader sensor, the finger simultaneously touches the three electrodes, and corresponding output signals are output therefrom. A weighted average of the output signals is calculated so that position information of the finger having touched the sensor can be acquired with a high resolution.

  • Publication number: 20080232614
Abstract: An instrument amplifier includes an amplifier circuit for amplifying a sound signal input from an electric guitar. A main speaker emits sound according to the sound signal being amplified. A CD player plays back an audio signal from an audio CD. Side speakers for playback emits audio sound according to the audio signal being played back. A speaker box contains the main speaker and the side speakers in one space. In one embodiment, the speaker box includes a rear panel for closing a space behind the main speaker and the side speakers. Furthermore, an output mode key is settable in a first mode by external operation, the first mode being for controlling the playback speaker to emit sound according to the sound signal. The side speakers are disposed beside one another, for stereo sound emission of the audio sound.
