Date of Patent: January 10, 2012
    Assignee: Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications
Inventors: Takahiko Yasuda, Masanori Katayanagi, Tomonori Sunazuka
  • Patent number: 8063874
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes: a luminance adjustable display module; an illuminance sensor configured to detect illuminance around the electronic apparatus; and a controller configured to: read the illuminance from the illuminance sensor; determine luminance corresponding to the illuminance; control the luminance adjustable display module to set luminance to the determined luminance; and set a waiting time based on the determined luminance, the waiting time being a time to a next time point of illuminance reading and luminance control. The controller is configured to set the waiting time short when the determined luminance is high and to set the waiting time long when the determined luminance is low.

  • Patent number: 7336977
Abstract: The mobile communication apparatus informs occurrence of a missed event with a vibrator 54 in response to the detection of a second state that a case separates from the other case in the apparatus. For example, the missed event can be that the apparatus has a missing incoming call, that the apparatus has an unread message, or that a missed alarm time in the apparatus has already past. Further, the apparatus informs the occurrences without recognizing the LCD 42.
