  • Publication number: 20050136785
Abstract: A material including a carbon-based substance and resins are mixed, and the mixture is extruded and dried, and the extrusion is sintered in an inert atmosphere, thereby obtaining a heating element material. The heating element material is reheated in a vacuum so that its resistance-temperature characteristic is adjusted to a necessary value, thereby obtaining a heating element for an infrared lamp. The heating element is a wire shaped or plate-shaped heating element including the carbon-based substance, and an internal lead wire is wound around each of both ends of the heating element directly or via a graphite block so that a tight fit can be obtained. A coil spring is formed in the middle of the internal lead wire. The heating element is accommodated in a quartz glass tube filled with an inert gas.

  • Publication number: 20040196353
Abstract: A tape printing apparatus prints a print image by each dot line onto a tape. A plurality of heating elements of print head are driven while the tape is moved in a longitudinal direction thereof relative to the print head. The heating elements are aligned corresponding to the dot lines of the print image in which dots are arrayed in a width direction of the tape. With this tape printing apparatus, the number of consecutive blank lines is inspected regarding the print image made up of a mixture of print lines which are the dot lines including the dots to be printed and blank lines which are the dot lines including no dots to be printed. Based on the number of consecutive blank lines, energy applied to the print head is adjusted.

  • Patent number: 5781872
Abstract: An on-vehicle data processing system is provided which can cause the vehicle information to be displayed on a display device 10. The on-vehicle data processing system has a mode setting unit 32 for setting the running and stop modes and a data processing unit 34 for computing the mode images. The data processing unit 34 computes the running mode images representing the running states of the vehicle in real time while in the running mode and the stop mode images representing the details of the vehicle information while in the stop mode. Thus, the running mode images, more easily viewed by the driver, can be displayed on the display device in the running mode while the stop mode images, preferentially displaying the contents of the vehicle information, can be displayed on the display device in the stop mode.
