  • Patent number: 6646992
Abstract: A communication control method inclusively having test function for testing or checking the operations of the communication control equipment at the physical layer in the ATM communication. This communication control method is applied to a communication control system in which data cell sent from an ATM layer control unit is inputted to the transmission system to convert it into frame data to transmit it to the transmission line, and frame data sent from the transmission line is inputted to the receiving system to convert it into data cell to transmit it to the ATM layer control unit, thus to allow data cell inputted to the transmission system to undergo loop-back to deliver it to the receiving system. In the transmission system, the method comprises respectively generating idle cell and test cell, whereby when data cell sent from the ATM layer control unit is delivered, this data cell is outputted, when output of test cell is designated from the external, e.g., host computer, etc.

  • Patent number: 6468881
Abstract: A single crystal silicon is produced using a Czocharalski (CZ) method. Silicon nitride powder is put in the bottom of a quartz crucible to provide a nitrogen concentration in the single crystal silicon of not less than about 1×1013 atoms/cm3. A poly-silicon raw material is then charged in the crucible. A pulling rate for the single crystal silicon is low so that an oxidation induced stacking faults ring exists or disappears at the center. Maintaining the nitrogen concentration of the single crystal silicon to not less than 1×1013 atoms/cm3 decrease the vacancy cluster and existinguish the dislocation cluster. Wafers prepared from the single crystal silicon have very high quality with minimal defects.

  • Patent number: 6344612
Abstract: A terminal box device has a body unit and a cover unit. The cover unit has a cover member, terminal members and bypassing diodes. Cables lead into the cover member, and the cover member includes a filler which covers the end of the panel cables, part of the terminal members, and the bypassing diodes. The body unit has a casing including wiring holes, terminals, a waterproof seal installed on a groove formed along an upper surface of a peripheral wall of the casing, and waterproof walls surrounding each wiring hole. The terminal members and the terminals are electrically connected with each other by installing the cover unit on the body unit. The waterproof seal and the waterproof walls prevent water from penetrating into the body unit.

  • Patent number: 6296508
Abstract: An electrical connector is provided, the connector having male and female connector housings. When the male and female connector housings are fitted together, locking arms and detents provided thereon may be spaced in the circumferential direction. In such a case, the male and female connector housings are rotated relative to each other in order to find a matching position. The connector housings include a positioning groove and a positioning rib. When the housings are brought together, the locking arm and detent are fitted to each other. The male and female connector housings are thus fixed at a predetermined position in the circumferential direction. When the normal fixed state is attained, the locking arm and detent are locked together. As the locking arm and detent include the positioning groove and rib, it is no longer necessary to position the male and female connector housings through visual checking.

  • Patent number: 5784380
Abstract: A frame type of transmission data is identified on the basis of identifying information indicating the type of a frame, which is detected from the transmission data transmitted in a frame form, in response to the contents of information constituting the transmission data. A container type of transmission data is identified on the basis of identifying information indicating the type of a container, which is detected from the transmission data transmitted in form of frames, in response to the contents of information constituting the transmission data.A communication control device automatically identifies types of frames and containers of transmission data, and automatically executes initial setting necessary for disassembling, reassembling or other processing of frames so as to facilitate sending and receiving of transmission data.

  • Patent number: 5694405
Abstract: An encoder and a decoder of an error correction code. A first division pattern generating circuit generates an n bit first division pattern used for dividing inputted n significant bit data in the next cycle from an n bit remainder obtained by dividing inputted data until then and inputted n less significant bit data. A second division pattern generating circuit generates an n bit second division pattern for dividing inputted n less significant bit data from the n bit remainder obtained by dividing inputted data until then. Therefore, the present invention provides the encoder and the decoder of a 2n parallel error correcting code which allows data to be coded and decoded, irregardless of whether the error correcting code is in the n more significant bits or the n less significant bits of a 2n parallel data bus.
