  • Patent number: 11549581
Abstract: A vehicle drive-force transmitting apparatus including: a casing provided with an oil supply hole; a pump for pumping out an oil stored in the casing; and a pipe for delivering the oil pumped out by the pump, such that the oil discharged from the pipe is supplied to the oil supply hole. The oil is to be discharged from the pipe collides with an oil collision portion which is a portion of the casing and which is located on an upper side of the oil supply hole. The casing includes a guide portion and a block portion. The guide portion is located on a lower side of the oil collision portion, so as to guide the oil discharged from the pipe toward the oil supply hole. The block portion is located to surround the oil collision portion, so as to block the oil splashing from the oil collision portion.

  • Patent number: 11022208
Abstract: A vehicle drive-force transmitting apparatus including: a casing provided with an oil supply hole through which an oil is to be supplied to a lubrication-required element. The casing is provided with a first guide portion and a second guide portion. The first guide portion defines a first path that is configured to guide the oil to flow from a diagonally upper side of the oil supply hole, toward the oil supply hole. The second guide portion defines a second path that is configured to separate the oil flowing along the first path, into a part of the oil and another part of the oil in an intermediate portion of the first path and to cause the part of the oil to join with the another part the oil in a position located right above the oil supply hole.

  • Patent number: 6520858
Abstract: A video game apparatus, method and medium increases simulation realism of a jump action by using an operation stick bendable from its upright position. A controller-operation detection unit detects values of the x-coordinate and the y-coordinate which correspond to a bend direction and a bend angle of an operation stick; jump control unit starts a run-up action when an A-button is turned on, in which if the operation stick is not bent towards the back end, processing immediately shifts to a jump action process; and jump conditions are determined on the basis of a changed information regarding the values of the x-coordinate and the y-coordinate at the time when the stick is bent from the back end to the upright position and the position of a ski-jumping competitor corresponding to a takeoff of a ski-jumping hill at the time of the operation of the operation stick.

  • Patent number: 6322444
Abstract: A video game system has a controller including a CPU which functions as a controller action detecting unit, a target position calculating unit, and a cursor display control unit, among others. The controller action detecting unit detects X and Y coordinates corresponding to a tilted direction and a tilted angle of a stick-type controller. The target position calculating unit calculates a target position to be reached by a movable character, such as a stone used in curling, based on the X and Y coordinates detected by the controller action detecting unit. The cursor display control unit sends an instruction signal to display a bar indicative of the target position to a signal processor, the bar having a width commensurate with the distance from a predetermined position, such as a stone throwing position, to the target position.

  • Patent number: 6203426
Abstract: In a competition video game machine, the speed for moving a character is variable according to the operation timing. A controller's operation determining function determines the on/off operation of a left trigger button and a right trigger button. An operation control function controls the skater's operation according to the activation of the left trigger button or the right trigger button. The skater's operation is controlled to repeat the cycle, consisting of an acceleration warm-up operation period, an acceleration operating period, and a decelerating operation period, for the left foot and the right foot alternately. Each operation period lasts for a predetermined period and, when one operation period is finished, the operation is shifted to another operation period.
