  • Publication number: 20130021612
Abstract: A timing generating circuit outputs, to a laser controller, a change pulse signal for changing an oscillation wavelength of the laser beam, and outputs, to a data acquisition circuit, a timing pulse signal for outputting data to a processor. An edge detection circuit detects an edge of a measurement signal outputted from a detector circuit. A delay measuring circuit receives a change pulse signal outputted from the timing generating circuit, receives an edge detection signal outputted from the edge detection circuit, and measures a delay of a time for which the laser beam with an oscillation wavelength changed based on the change pulse signal reaches the detector circuit after the change pulse signal is outputted from the timing generating circuit. The timing generating circuit delays a time for outputting data from the data acquisition circuit to the processor based on the delay of time outputted from the delay measuring circuit.

  • Patent number: 8274538
Abstract: The emission intensity of a laser beam source, at a time when a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source and scanned by an optical scanning device becomes incident to a laser beam detector provided in a predetermined position on the scanning path of the laser beam in order to hold a position of an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor constant in the main scanning direction, while at the same time, changing the emission intensity of the laser beam, is set so as to become the consistently same emission intensity regardless of a change in emission intensity at the time of electrostatic latent image formation onto a photoreceptor. This allows the detection timing of a laser beam by a laser beam detector to be kept constant.

  • Publication number: 20120212744
Abstract: A laser gas analyzer which can include a light source unit including a diode laser that irradiates a gas to be measured with laser light while varying a wavelength thereof; a detection unit including a light receiving element, a gain-variable amplifier into which an output signal of the light receiving element is input, an A/D converter into which the output signal of the amplifier is input, and an arithmetic processing unit that performs a concentration analysis of the gas to be measured; a peak-to-peak detector that detects a peak-to-peak value of the output data of the A/D converter each time the wavelength of the laser light irradiated from the diode laser changes; and a gain adjustment unit that, when the output signal of the peak-to-peak detector deviates from a preset threshold, adjusts the gain of the amplifier in a direction of bringing the output signal back to within the threshold.

  • Patent number: 8212380
Abstract: A transformer accepts an AC voltage from an AC power source, transforms the AC voltage, and supplies the transformed AC voltage to first rectifying circuits. Similarly, another transformer accepts an AC voltage from an AC power source, transforms the AC voltage, and supplies the transformed AC voltage to second rectifying circuits. The first rectifying circuits convert the accepted AC voltage into a positive DC voltage, and the second rectifying circuits convert the accepted AC voltage to a negative DC voltage. The positive DC voltage and the negative DC voltage then are superimposed and outputted to a secondary side of a transformer in the AC circuits. The AC voltage outputted from the transformers in the AC circuits and the DC voltage formed by superimposing the positive and negative DC voltages outputted from the first and second rectifying circuits are further superimposed, and supplied to each developing section.

  • Patent number: 8106767
Abstract: An antenna outputs query signals to a wireless tag, and receives response signals output from the wireless tag. An intensity detection circuit detects the signal intensity of the response signals. A control portion judges the type of toner housed in a cartridge, or whether the toner is a certified product or a non-certified product, from the detected signal intensity. Further, the control portion outputs to an output setting circuit an instruction signal to change the signal intensity of the query signals, such that normal wireless communication can be performed with the wireless tag.

  • Patent number: 8026940
Abstract: A CPU (91) of an image forming apparatus includes a beam detecting part (911) that detects each of laser beams scanning by a predetermined number (e.g., four) of polygon mirrors (332) at a preset position (where a beam sensor (335) is disposed), a reference phase setting part (912) that sets a reference phase that is a phase to be a reference of the predetermined number of rotation phases of the polygon mirrors (332) based on a result of detection by the beam detecting part (911), and a phase control part (913) that controls polygon motor (330) so that predetermined number of rotation phases of the polygon mirrors (332) match the reference phase.

  • Patent number: 7995935
Abstract: A differential sensitivity calculation portion calculates the differential sensitivity D of a toner concentration sensor, using an output voltage V1 and V2 of the toner concentration sensor when a toner chamber is in a state of toner concentration T1 and T2 at the time of initial operation of a printer, or at some other time. A toner replenishment control portion takes as input a current output voltage Vs output from the toner concentration sensor, calculates the toner concentration in the toner chamber using the output voltage Vs and the differential sensitivity D calculated by the differential sensitivity calculation portion, and outputs a control signal to a toner replenishment motor so as to maintain the toner concentration in the toner chamber at an appropriate concentration.

  • Patent number: 7880865
Abstract: In a laser radar apparatus, a laser beam generator that generates a laser beam and an optical detector that detects reflected light that has been reflected by an object in a field to be observed. A deflection performing means, provided with one or more deflection means each rotatable on a given central axis thereof, for enabling the deflection means to deflect the laser beam to the field and to deflect the reflected light toward the optical detector. A drive means driven to rotate the deflection means. A direction changing means changes a direction of the laser beam from the deflection means is changed in a direction of the central axis. A control means controls an operation of the direction changing means.
