  • Patent number: 8111503
Abstract: A gas-insulated switchgear allowing reduction in layout dimension in a direction of axis lines of circuit breakers and also reduction in layout dimension in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the axis lines of the circuit breakers, thereby allowing reduction in installation area. Between two main buses disposed in parallel, first, second and third circuit breakers are disposed as being aligned so that each axis line is orthogonal to a direction of axis lines of the main buses. A branch line drawn from a portion between the first and second circuit breakers and a branch line drawn from a portion between the second and third circuit breakers are connected to respective cable heads. The centers of the cable heads are configured so as to be positioned on a straight line orthogonal to the direction of the axis lines of the main buses.

  • Patent number: 7938895
Abstract: A gas tank is hermetically filled with an insulating gas. A gas filling opening is provided on the gas tank, which includes a flange at its end. A gas filter device is fixed to the gas flange of the gas filling opening. The gas filter device includes a gas filter formed with a porous insulating material having pores with a diameter in a range from tens of micrometers to hundreds of micrometers. The gas filter has stability against the insulating gas and a decomposition product of the insulating gas.

Abstract: An object is to provide a gas-insulated switchgear allowing reduction in layout dimension in a direction of axis lines of circuit breakers and also reduction in layout dimension in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the axis lines of the circuit breakers, thereby allowing reduction in installation area. Between a main bus 1 and a main bus 2 disposed in parallel, a circuit breaker 3, a circuit breaker 4, and a circuit breaker 5 are disposed as being aligned so that each axis line is orthogonal to a direction of axis lines of the main buses 1 and 2. A branch line drawn from a portion between the circuit breakers 3 and 4 and a branch line drawn from a portion between the circuit breakers 4 and 5 are connected to cable heads 42 and 44, respectively. Then, the center of the cable head 42 and the center of the cable head 44 are configured so as to be positioned on a straight line orthogonal to the direction of the axis lines of the main buses 1 and 2.

  • Publication number: 20090314356
Abstract: In a conventional gas-insulated switchgear placed outdoors, a pressure relief plate of a pressure relief device-a component of the switchgear-becomes wet due to entering of rain or moisture to corrode and deteriorate; and the wet portions swell by their freezing, resulting in further deterioration in mechanical strength of the portions; therefore, the switchgear has a problem in long term reliability. In order to prevent the surface of the pressure relief plate from being exposed to rain or moisture, a hydrophobic synthetic resin is adhered to the outside surface of the pressure relief plate that closes the pressure relief hole provided on the insulated switchgear; therefore, deterioration through corroding or the one in mechanical strength can be curbed to secure long term reliability of the gas-insulated switchgear.
