    Abstract: A defect to be reviewed is selected from a plurality of defects obtained from inspection results. When the selected defect is a defect of a pattern written using an iteration expression in design data on the mask, another pattern written using the iteration expression in the design data is extracted. A defect present in another pattern is extracted. A peripheral pattern portion located at the periphery of the selected defect and a peripheral pattern portion located at the periphery of the extracted defect are extracted. It is determined whether the peripheral pattern portions extracted are similar to each other. When the peripheral pattern portions are similar to each other, the selected defect and the extracted defect are grouped. It is determined whether the selected defect is an actual defect or a pseudo defect. The determination result is applied to the other grouped defect.

    Abstract: A passenger detection system for detecting seating status of a passenger on a seat of a vehicle in which structure of electrodes placed on the seat is improved, is proposed. A plurality of electrodes are placed apart on the upper side of the seat, and a weak alternating electric field is generated between a transmission electrode, selected from the electrodes plurality of and reception electrodes other than the transmission electrode, and displacement currents passing in the reception plurality of electrodes, caused by the weak alternating electric field are detected. The seating status of the passenger on the seat is determined by analyzing the detected displacement currents. An electrode structure is preliminarily formed by fixing the electrodes apart on an electrical insulating base material, and the electrode structure is placed between a cushion material and a covering material of the seat. Preferably, the electrode structure is fixed to one or more components of the seat.

    Abstract: A passenger detecting system is disclosed, that comprises a seat, a plurality of electrodes disposed at predetermined intervals on at least the front surface of the seat, an oscillating circuit for generating a weak electric field between at least one particular electrode (referred to as a first type electrode) of the electrodes and the other electrodes (referred to as second type electrodes), a current/voltage converting circuit for detecting displacement currents that flow corresponding to the weak electric field and for converting the displacement currents into respective voltages, a controlling circuit for detecting a seating pattern of an passenger or the like on the seat corresponding to output signals of the current/voltage converting circuit, and an air bag device for inflating an air bag in case of a collision.
