  • Publication number: 20220393568
Abstract: In a control circuit for a power converter applicable to a system including a rotary electric machine, a fail-safe controller performs, in response to determination that there is a failure in the system, a short-circuit control routine that turns on predetermined turn-on arm switches, and turns off predetermined turn-off arm switches. The turn-on arm switches bare one of (i) upper-arm switches and (ii) lower-arm switches, and the turn-off arm switches are the other of (i) the upper-arm switches and (ii) the lower-arm switches. An on determiner detects a drive state of each turn-on arm switch upon determination that the turn-on is instructed for the corresponding turn-on arm switch, and determines, based on the drive state of each turn-on arm switch, whether the turn-on arm switches are switchable to be on in preparation for a short-circuit control routine performed by a short-circuit controller.

  • Publication number: 20220393572
Abstract: A control circuit for a power converter is applicable to a system that includes a power supply, a power converter, an interruption switch, a smoothing capacitor, and a series-connection body made of a discharge resistor and a discharge switch. In the control circuit, a discharge command unit outputs a discharge command for the smoothing capacitor. A discharge drive command unit outputs a drive command for the discharge switch based on the discharge command outputted from the discharge command unit. A drive circuit is connected to a gate of the discharge switch and performs drive control of the discharge switch based on the drive command outputted from the discharge drive command unit. An operation detecting unit detects a signal related to driving of the drive switch. A discharge determining unit determines whether the discharge drive command unit is normal based on a detected signal of the operation detecting unit.

  • Publication number: 20220393633
Abstract: A control circuit is used for a system including a power storage unit, an electric load, and a power converter electrically connected to the electric load. The control circuit includes an abnormality determination unit, an emergency power supply that generates power based on electricity supplied from the power storage unit, and a protective control unit that, when the abnormality determination unit determines that an abnormality has occurred, performs protective control for the system. The emergency power supply includes a power supply control unit configured to be operable based on electricity supplied from the power storage unit. During the period from when the voltage input to the power supply control unit starts increasing based on electricity supplied from the power storage unit, the power supply control unit starts the emergency power supply in response to the input voltage reaching a specified voltage.

  • Patent number: 11183918
Abstract: In an abnormality determination system, when a drive signal is input and no shutdown signal for stopping gate drive of switching elements is input, a signal switching section outputs the drive signal to a bridge circuit. When a shutdown signal is input, the signal switching section stops output of the drive signal and activates a shutdown function of an inverter. An abnormality determination section determines an abnormality in the shutdown function. When a power source relay is opened, a control unit drives the bridge circuit to start a discharge process of discharging electric charge from a smoothing capacitor, and activates the shutdown function during execution of the discharge process. When it is determined that a directly or indirectly detected voltage of the smoothing capacitor has dropped during operation of the shutdown function, the abnormality determination section determines that the shutdown function is abnormal.

  • Patent number: 11128604
Abstract: [Problem] To provide an anonymous communication system which ensures anonymity, with which a user can be identified if necessary, and which has a high degree of social credibility. [Solution] A user computer 11 transmits to a management computer 21 electronically signed subscription application data signed using a first signature key capable of being used with another communication system. The management computer 21 verifies the electronic signature of the subscription application data using a first public key, and if the validity of the electronic signature can be verified, generates and encrypts a second signature key and transmits the encrypted second signature key to the user computer 11. The user computer 11 generates electronically signed receipt data that have been signed in duplicate using the first and second signature keys, and transmits the receipt data to the management computer 21.

  • Patent number: 8296041
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is provided which is operative in an automatic engine stop mode to stop an engine automatically and in an engine restart mode to restart the engine automatically after the engine is stopped in the automatic engine stop mode so as to output a predetermined reference engine torque immediately after the engine is started. The vehicle control apparatus works to determine the travel performance of the vehicle required immediately after the engine has been restarted in the engine restart mode and control the torque outputted by the engine based on the determined travel performance so as to ensure the drivability of the vehicle after the engine is restarted automatically.
