  • Publication number: 20150240932
Abstract: Provided are a sprocket and a chain transmission mechanism configured such that noise and vibrations caused by the elongation of the chain and also wear of parts are reduced, the decrease in the meshing strength of the chain and the sprocket is inhibited, and the chain service life is extended. The sprocket and chain transmission mechanism each have bottom land portion arcs of a predetermined radius and a predetermined angular range between a plurality of teeth to be meshed with the chain. The radius of each of the bottom land portion arcs satisfies the following relationship with the diameter of a roller or a bush of the meshing chain: Rb>0.505*?r+0.069*?r1/3 (where Rb is the bottom land portion arc radius, and ?r is the diameter of the roller or the bush of the meshing chain).

  • Patent number: 9046151
Abstract: Inner links of a chain are formed as an integral link unit, each having a pair of connecting pin portions and a pair of plate portions coupling the pair of connecting pin portions, so as to have higher strength and improved durability, whereby the cost of the chain is reduced because of the ease of assembly and a reduction in the number of components. The chain is formed by coupling together link units and pairs of link plates alternately and pivotally in a longitudinal direction of the chain. The link unit is formed by inseparably joining a pair of connecting pin portions and a pair of plate portions at joint parts.

  • Publication number: 20150049851
Abstract: A central control device of a nuclear power plant monitors and controls the nuclear power plant. The central control device includes monitoring operation devices (for example, an alarm VDU, a common system VDU, and a safety system VDU of an operation console) each having both a function as a display unit that displays information on the nuclear power plant (for example, operation information, safety information, and the like) and a function as an operation unit that operates the nuclear power plant, and a control unit that controls these monitoring operation devices. The control unit selects an operation procedure document corresponding to an input operation to a monitoring operation device and displays the operation procedure document on the monitoring operation device.

  • Publication number: 20140323255
Abstract: A chain transmission is provided which is capable of reducing friction loss in the transmission of power without the risk of compromising the durability of a chain guide mechanism and the chain. The chain transmission includes a chain and a chain guide mechanism. The chain guide mechanism includes a first guide and a second guide having a smaller radius of curvature than that of the first guide. The plurality of plates include a first plate and a second plate. The first plate has a backside height set such that the first plate does not contact the first guide when the first plate is guided by the first guide and such that the first plate contacts the second guide when the first plate is guided by the second guide.

  • Patent number: 8771117
Abstract: In a power transmission utilizing a bushingless roller chain, the inner links of the chain have chain guide-contacting backs that have a convex arcuate shape, and the outer links are shaped so that they do not contact the chain guides. The rollers are wider than the sprocket teeth that they engage, and widthwise gaps between the ends of the rollers and the outer link plates allow the inner link plates to move in the widthwise direction. The gap between the inner surfaces of the rollers and the outer surfaces of the connecting pins of the chain is larger than the gap between the inner surfaces of the holes in the inner link plates and the outer surfaces of the connecting pins that extend through them.

  • Publication number: 20140141913
Abstract: A chain is provided, whose strength is increased and whose power loss is reduced as a result of reduced friction resistance between link units and link plates. A pair of link plates 160 are pivotally coupled to a link unit 101 in the chain 100. A pair of connecting pin portions 110 and a pair of plate portions 140 are inseparably joined at joint parts 150 to form one link unit 101. A stopper portion 123 is provided to the connecting pin portion 110 between a plate portion 140 and a link plate 160 adjacent each other in the width direction to restrict the link plate 160 from coming closer to the plate portion 140.

  • Patent number: 8138576
Abstract: The invention provides a technique and a device that dramatically improve joint reliability of miniature joints of fine electronic components. According to the invention, when producing a tin or a solder alloy used for electronic components, an ingot of a tin or a solder alloy is heated, melted and delivered to a reactor. Also, a solution containing organic acid having a carboxyl group (—COOH) is delivered to the reactor. After stirring and mixing the two liquids intensively, the mixed liquid is separated into a molten tin or a molten solder alloy liquid and an organic acid solution according to the difference in specific gravity. Then, the respective liquids are circulated to the reactor, and the metal oxides and the impurities existing in the molten tin or the molten solder alloy are removed, and the molten tin or the molten alloy is purified to have oxygen concentration of 5 ppm or less.

  • Publication number: 20090156339
Abstract: In an engine timing transmission, one end of a unitary molded glass fiber-reinforced resin chain guide is pivotally supported on a bolt fixed to an engine block. A supporting portion adjacent the opposite end of the chain guide is in abutting relationship with the engine block. An intermediate supporting portion on the chain guide is spaced from the engine block, but, when tension in the chain increases, the chain guide flexes, allowing the intermediate supporting portion to come into abutting relationship with the engine block. Through holes in the chain guide allow deformation of the supporting portions.
