  • Patent number: 5546652
Abstract: An amorphous core/coil assembling apparatus which prevents or minimizes damage to an amorphous core of an amorphous material upon insertion of the amorphous core into a pair of coils and which is high in reliability and superior in operability. An amorphous core of an inverted U-shape is first fixed at a predetermined position, and then a coil receiving table on which a pair of coils are placed is guided to a position at which end portions of the legs of the U-shape of the amorphous core are positioned in the proximity of a pair of V-shaped openable and closeable guide caps, whereafter the guide caps are removed from the end portions of the legs of the amorphous core.

  • Patent number: 4571822
Abstract: A method of and apparatus for inserting coils into slots formed in the stator core of a dynamoelectric machine such as an electric motor, with the stator core having open type slots each of which cooperates with blades of the apparatus for guiding the coil and a stripper for forcing the coil out of the blades. A closed space has a volume sufficient to avoid any disorder of coil wire layers when the coil is received by the closed space. After placing the coils in the closed spaces, the coils are pushed into the respective slots and, as desired, the coils are further compressed until the coil wires assume a non-circular cross-section. By so doing, it is possible to remarkably increase the space factor of each slot.

  • Patent number: 4564777
Abstract: A novel rotor construction is disclosed, in which plural permanent magnets are arranged on the outer periphery of a rotor core, which are protected with a cover, and in which a member is placed at an axial end of the rotor core cast with end rings with a balance weight on the outside thereof. The protective cover protects the outer peripheries of the end rings and dampens the centrifugal force of the balance weight. Projections provided on the outer periphery of the member are located at the center of the permanent magnets to reduce the leakage magnetic fluxes between the permanent magnets.

  • Patent number: 4543708
Abstract: A cushioning member is placed in the open slots formed in a core, weirs are disposed at the ends of teeth located on both sides of each of said open slots, a coil composed of a conductor having an insulation film is disposed in said open slots and between said weirs, and said coil is pressed from the opening of said slot toward the bottom thereof in order to deform the cross-sectional shape of the conductor having insulation film from a circular shape into a non-circular shape.
