  • Patent number: 9516699
Abstract: A sensor network system is provided with a plurality of sensor terminals disposed in a predetermined area, and a monitoring center device that collects sensing data wirelessly transmitted from each of the plurality of sensor terminals. The sensor terminals wirelessly and intermittently transmit a transmission signal including sensor identification information and the latest sensing data from the sensors. The monitoring center device has the function of acquiring positional information of the sensor terminals in the predetermined area, and accumulates each item of the sensing data from the sensor terminals as time-series data in association with information about the time of acquisition. On the basis of the positional information of the sensor terminals and the time-series data of the accumulated sensing data, a time-series variation of an environmental element in the predetermined area is visually presented.

  • Publication number: 20160021434
Abstract: A sensor terminal is provided with a sensor information storing part for storing sensor information regarding each of different types of sensors that can be connected to a sensor connector part. A sensor type discrimination means discriminates between types of sensors connected to the sensor connector part. A schedule information storing part stores schedule information regarding the connected sensors. On the basis of the discrimination result from the sensor type discrimination means, sensor information regarding the connected sensors is acquired from the sensor information storing part, and schedule information is generated and stored in the schedule information storing part. A control means refers to the schedule information storing part, and on the basis of the schedule information regarding the connected sensor, acquires sensing data and wirelessly transmits the sensing data. A sensor terminal is thus provided merely by connecting and installing different types of sensors.

  • Patent number: 6848320
Abstract: A mechanical deformation amount sensor includes a sensor structure which is formed by a semiconductor substrate or an insulating substrate and integrally includes a deformation portion deformable, when a physical quantity to be detected is applied to the sensor structure, due to the physical quantity and a support portion for supporting the deformation portion, a carbon nanotube resistance element which is provided on the deformation portion so as to be mechanically deformed in response to deformation of the deformation portion and a wiring pattern which is formed in a pattern on the sensor structure so as to be connected to the carbon nanotube resistance element. By applying a voltage to the carbon nanotube resistance element via the wiring pattern, a change of electrical conductivity of the carbon nanotube resistance element upon mechanical deformation of the carbon nanotube resistance element is fetched as an electrical signal.

  • Patent number: 5444452
Abstract: An antenna apparatus for receiving two distinct frequencies in the MHz or GHz range. A patch layer of electrically conducting material is positioned in the interior of a dielectric layer that has top and bottom surfaces. First and second ground planes are positioned on the top and bottom surfaces of the substrate, respectively. The patch is electrically connected by plated via holes to an annular strip of conducting material, positioned on the top substrate surface and surrounding the first ground plane. A patch antenna for receiving a first frequency is thus formed by the patch layer and the second ground plane. A cavity antenna for receiving a second frequency is formed from the patch layer, the first ground plane, and the annular strip. Two receiver feed connections, positioned at selected first and second positions on the patch resonator, receive distinct first and second frequencies.

  • Patent number: 5323168
Abstract: Antenna apparatus for receiving two distinct frequencies in the MHz or GHz range. A resonator layer of electrically conducting material is positioned in the interior of a dielectric layer that has first and second opposed surfaces (front and back). First and second ground planes are positioned on the first and second opposed surfaces of the substrate. The resonator is electrically connected to an annular strip of conducting material, positioned on the first substrate surface and surrounding the first ground plane. Two receiver feed connections, positioned at selected first and second positions on the patch resonator, receive distinct first and second frequencies. This apparatus may be used to receive the two GPS operating frequencies, the two GLONASS operating frequencies or two wireless LAN operating frequencies.
