  • Patent number: 9028080
Abstract: Foreign matter is effectively ejected from between a sliding portion and protruding portions. In a mirror surface angle adjustment device of a vehicle door mirror device, while a mirror holder is rotated and an angle of a mirror surface of a mirror is adjusted, a sliding portion of the mirror holder slides on protruding portions of the case. The protruding portions extend to be directed toward a rotating direction of the mirror holder. Therefore, when the sliding portion slides on the protruding portions, foreign matter is easily ejected from between the sliding portion and the protruding portions to sideward of the protruding portions, and foreign matter can be effectively ejected from between the sliding portion and the protruding portions. Therefore, the sliding portion can slide smoothly against the protruding portions, and the rotating of the mirror holder can be made stable.

  • Patent number: 8690363
Abstract: In a vehicle door mirror device, a base is attached to a door and covered with a base cover. A gasket is disposed on a door panel of the base cover, a seal portion of the gasket seals a gap between a lower side end of the base cover and the door panel. The seal portion is extended from the gasket toward the base cover side. Therefore, even if a dimension of the gap between the lower side end of the base cover and the door panel varies, the lower side end of the seal portion can be suppressed from being separated from an outer periphery of the base cover toward the inner side, the base cover can be suppressed from looking floating from the door panel, and appearance of the gap between the lower side end of the base cover and the door panel can be improved.

  • Patent number: 7573632
Abstract: An electrochromic mirror 10 has a simple construction wherein only two layers of films, namely an electrochromic film 14 and an electrically conductive light reflecting film 16 are formed on a glass substrate 12, and a film thickness and film quality and the like of the electrochromic film 14 and the electrically conductive light reflecting film 16 hardly affects performance. Therefore, this leads to easy manufacturing at low cost. Further, since the electrochromic mirror has such a construction that light introduced from a surface side of the glass substrate 12 is reflected by the electrically conductive light reflecting film 16 formed on a back of this glass substrate 12, occurrence of a double image is prevented.

  • Patent number: 7062060
Abstract: An outer mirror and a vehicle interphone are provided for transmitting a sound to the outside from a vehicle cabin and vice versa. Sound outside the vehicle cabin is transmitted to the cabin from a microphone-loudspeaker provided in a visor cover of the outer mirror. The microphone-loudspeaker is supported on a frame having higher rigidity than the visor cover, which is mounted to a vehicle body via an electric accommodating unit and a door mirror base to promote shock resistance. The visor cover includes a sound-conducting opening in its bottom portion, and the microphone-loudspeaker is made waterproof to promote weather resistance.

  • Publication number: 20030147542
Abstract: Disclosed are an outer mirror and a vehicle interphone having a function of transmitting a sound to the outside from a vehicle cabin or inputting a sound outside of the cabin, and having physical durability. The sound in the cabin is transmitted from a microphone-loudspeaker provided in a visor cover of the outer mirror. The sound near the visor cover, which is received by the microphone-loudspeaker, is emitted in the cabin. The microphone-loudspeaker is supported on a frame having higher rigidity than the visor cover, which is mounted to a vehicle body via an electric accommodating unit and a door mirror base.

  • Patent number: 6583919
Abstract: An electrochromic anti-glare mirror is provided in which incorrect assembly can be prevented, assemblability can be improved, a number of work processes can be reduced, and costs can be reduced. The electrochromic anti-glare mirror includes an electrochromic layer which is provided at a rear surface side of a substrate glass, and in which an electrochromic film is nipped between a transparent conductive film and a reflective conductive film. By energizing the electrochromic film between the transparent conductive film and reflective conductive film, the electrochromic film is electrically made to color. Wires for electrochromic anti-glare for energizing the electrochromic film between the transparent conductive film and the reflective conductive film are printed on the printed circuit board. As a result, there is no need for complex work for installing and connecting cords as in conventional structures in which wires are cords.
