  • Publication number: 20020063088
Abstract: Surfactants present in waste water to be treated are adsorbed and removed on a salt-form ion exchange resin by passing the water to be treated with the surfactants and other organic materials through an ion exchange apparatus using the salt-form ion exchange resin, with the waste water to be treated being generated from using high-purity water. The organic matter remaining in the treated water of the ion exchange apparatus is oxidized and decomposed by an organic matter oxidizing device. The obtained treated water is supplied to the high-purity water producing apparatus for recovery and reuse.

  • Patent number: 6274018
Abstract: Two sub-desalination chambers d1 and d2 are defined by a cation exchange membrane 3 on one side, an anion exchange membrane 4 on the other side, and an intermediate ion exchange membrane 5 in between and are filled with ion exchange materials 8 to construct a desalination chamber D. Concentrating chambers 1 are provided via the cation exchange membrane 3 and the anion exchange membrane 4 on both sides of the desalination chamber D. The desalination chambers D and the concentrating chambers 1 are provided between an anode 7 and a cathode 6. While a voltage is applied between the anode 7 and the cathode 6, water is supplied to one of the two sub-desalination chambers d2 and then, water discharged from the first sub-desalination chamber d2 is supplied to a second sub-desalination chamber d1. Concentrate water is supplied to the concentrate chambers.

  • Patent number: 5831247
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus and a method for producing an electronic component provided with bumps, in which the operation of placing a solder ball serving as a material of a bump onto an electrode of a work is monitored, and if a solder ball placing failure is detected, a recovering operation is automatically performed. In the apparatus and method of the invention, a head is moved to a location above a solder ball supplying unit so as to pick up solder balls by means of suction. The head is then moved to a location above a flux reservoir so that the solder balls are coated with flux. The head is further moved to a location above a substrate and the solder balls are placed on electrodes of the substrate. The substrate is then observed using a camera to decide whether solder balls are correctly placed on the electrodes. If yes, the substrate is transferred into a heating furnace.

  • Patent number: 5403412
Abstract: A electrically conductive sheet stuck onto a medium is picked up by a camera so as to detect the sticking position of the electrically conductive sheet on the medium, and the sticking condition of the electrically conductive sheet is compared with a predetermined pattern so as to determine whether the sticking condition of the electrically conductive sheet is satisfactory or not. That is, the check of the sticking condition of the electrically conductive sheet is automated. Further, a position where the sticking of the electrically conductive sheet is inferior is indexed in accordance with the result of the check, and the retry operation for sticking again the electrically conductive sheet can be automatically made.
