  • Publication number: 20020116446
Abstract: In a network system S, which includes an agent server LS that is located between the Internet IN and a terminal T and that relays a connection request from the terminal T to the Internet IN, the agent server LS requests the establishment of a connection between the terminal T and the agent server LS and transmits to the terminal T a request signal that includes identification information for the agent server LS. The terminal T receives the request signal and examines the agent server LS based on the identification information included in the received signal. When it is concluded that the agent server LS that transmitted the request signal is one to which the terminal T should be connected, a connection is established with the agent module LS that transmitted the request signal.

  • Publication number: 20020076960
Abstract: In a folding-type electronic apparatus in which first and second base members (81, 83) are connected by a hinge element (11) to be rotatable around a predetermined axis with respect to each other, the hinge element has a receptacle portion for receiving a flexible conductor element (41). An end of the flexible conductor element is connected to a first electric element mounted on the first base member. Another end of the flexible conductor element is connected to a second electric element mounted oh the second base member. The flexible conductor has an intermediate portion located between the ends thereof and received in the receptacle portion of the hinge element.

  • Patent number: 6312263
Abstract: In a connector having a plurality of conductive contacts assembled to an insulator, each of the contacts has unique structure for electrically connecting a first and a second board to each other. The first board has a primary surface and a secondary surface opposed to each other. The second board has a principal surface facing the secondary surface with a space left therebetween. In the unique structure, a base portion is placed in the space and held by the insulator. A first elastic portion extends from the base portion to face a primary surface. A first contact portion is protruded from the first elastic portion to come in contact with one of electrode patterns arranged on the primary surface. A second elastic portion extends from the base portion. A second contact portion is protruded from the second elastic portion to come in contact with one of electrode patterns arranged on the principal surface.

  • Patent number: 4899108
Abstract: A high frequency coil is constructed by combining a plurality of unit coil having two saddle shaped coils which are vertically symmetric to each other. Each unit coil is disposed so as to locate the line sections of each saddle shaped coil on an outer peripheral surface of an elliptic cylinder. Assuming the plane perpendicular to the central axis of the elliptic cylinder is an x-y plane, major axis of an ellipse on the x-y plane as x axis and minor axis thereof as y axis, the angle between the x axis and the line extending from origin to the line section located in a first quadrant chosen among the line sections of each unit coil is assumed as .theta.. The optimum angle .theta..sub.

  • Patent number: 4531647
Abstract: A device for stopping the swinging movement of a load hung by a crane. The crane includes a trolley mounted on an overhead girder of the crane with the trolley being capable of traveling back and forth on the overhead girder. A beam is pivotally supported by the trolley with two sets of sheaves mounted on the beam for displacement relative to each other. Ropes are trained over the two sets of sheaves. A suspension member is provided for suspending the load to be moved by the crane with the suspension member being connected to the lower ends of the ropes. Dampers are mounted between the trolley and the beam. The energy of the swinging movement of the load is converted, through the sheaves to the energy of the oscillating movement of the beam which is transmitted to the dampers, so that the energy causing the load to move in swinging motion can be absorbed by the dampers with a high degree of efficiency and the swinging movement of the load can be quickly stopped.
