  • Patent number: 8380746
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a database system includes first, second and third storing units, and an image generating unit. The first storing unit stores a first data table that describes plural first data records respectively including information concerning plural information fields. The second storing unit stores a second data table that describes second data records each including plural kinds of attribute information respectively representing display attributes concerning the information fields. The third storing unit stores, concerning the information, display definition data that describes plural kinds of attribute information respectively representing display attributes set independently of the display attributes represented by the attribute information.

  • Patent number: 4624650
Abstract: A torsional vibration absorber device is positioned between two relatively rotatable members. A coupling member has a projection engaging a camming surface on one of the members, the camming surface being slanted circumferentially with respect to the axial direction. A wet type friction clutch is interposed between the coupling member and the other rotary member and is urged in the direction of its engagement upon axial movement of said coupling member, and a spring opposes such movement of the coupling member. A hydraulic oil chamber connected to atmosphere via an orifice decreases in volume upon axial movement of the coupling member.

  • Patent number: 4284178
Abstract: A hydraulic shock absorber which includes a first cylinder closed at the top thereof and having a piston rod which axially extends from the top of the first cylinder and through the interior thereof and provided at the lower end with a piston; and a second cylinder closed at the bottom and telescopically received within the first cylinder. The second cylinder is provided with two radial partition walls having respective hole portions defining oil paths between them and the piston rod. A ring-like elastic member is fitted on the piston rod within a chamber defined between the two partition walls so as to function as a check valve for the oil paths defined between the hole portions in the partition walls and the piston rod. The piston rod is provided with an inner oil path extending therethrough and with a check valve arranged in the inner oil path, thereby compensating for a loss of damping function when the oil path around the piston rod is closed.
