  • Publication number: 20140009187
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes an outputting unit in which a CMOS inverter configured from a first MOS transistor and a second MOS transistor for outputting a second signal using a first signal as an input thereto and a third MOS transistor that includes a gate terminal to which a control signal for controlling the outputting of the second signal is inputted and that is in an off state when the control signal indicates inhibition of the outputting of the second signal are cascade-connected to each other, and a fixing unit that fixes a value of the first signal based on the control signal. When the control signal indicates inhibition of the outputting of the second signal, the fixing unit fixes the value of the first signal to a value with which the first or second MOS transistor is placed in an off state.

  • Patent number: 6740106
Abstract: An electroless nickel plating film layer is formed over a surface of a base material of a forceps piece made of austenitic stainless steel. The forceps are chemical resistant. The electroless nickel plating film layer displays a hardness suitable for the forceps and superior toughness, and allows an edge to be put on the electroless nickel plating film layer more easily than a hardened steel that has the same hardness.

  • Patent number: 6684447
Abstract: A cleaning sponge roller is made of a polyvinyl acetal-based porous sponge having elasticity in a wet state and comprises a generally cylindrical roll body and a plurality of protrusions molded integrally on the periphery of the roll body. The cleaning sponge roller rotatingly cleans a material to be cleaned by contacting the top portions of the protrusions with the surface of the material and brushing off polishing residues found on the surface of the material. Each of the protrusions has a tapered protruding base portion extending from the periphery of the roll body, and a protruding end portion having almost the same sectional shape from the top end surface of the protruding base portion to the top portion.

  • Patent number: 6598255
Abstract: A cleaning rotary brush 1 comprises a hard base 3 mounted to a rotary shaft and a plurality of ridged projections 27 formed on and projecting from the working surface of the base 3, the tops of said ridged projections 27 in contact with an object to be cleaned while rotating in substantially the same plane. The ridged projections 27 are made of a polyvinyl acetal porous elastomer and disposed continually on a plurality of phantom setting lines 31 extending from inner reference, points 31a on the side of the center of rotation 35 of the working surface to outer reference points 31b on the side of the outer periphery 17b of the working surface. The length L1 in a longitudinal direction of said ridged projections 27 is made longer than the length D1 in a widthwise direction of the ridged projections 27.

  • Patent number: 6527706
Abstract: In an endoscopic insertion instrument having a rigid tip end section, an elongated flexible body, and an angle section connected between the rigid tip end section and the flexible body, a joint construction connects an angle section to the fore end of the flexible body. A couple of connecting rings are provided opposingly at joining ends of the angle section and the flexible body. At least one aperture is provided in an outer one of the connecting rings to feed a flux. At least one angle section operating is passed through the connecting ring. The operating wire is encased in a sheathing coil, the fore end of which is fixed to the inner one connecting rings. To prevent flux from getting into the closed sheathing coil, a shield portion is formed around an outer periphery of the sheating coil over a predetremined range in axial length.

  • Patent number: 6454703
Abstract: Within a flexible angling joint tube which is connected to a rigid tip end section of an endoscopic insertion instrument and which is formed by connecting a predetermined number of angle rings successively and pivotally by the use of pivoting pins, a plural number of operating wires are passed in an axial direction via the respective pivoting pins. Fore ends of the operating wires are fixedly anchored at fixation points in boundary portions of the rigid tip end section and the flexible angling joint tube. An operating wire fixation point for at least one operating wire is shifted to an angular position in the circumferential direction from a normal position on an axial extension line from a row of pivoting pins.
