The composition is a novel, rapidly polymerizable composition for an optical resin. Furthermore, a resin prepared by curing the composition not only has a high refractive index and a high Abbe number, but also is excellent in transparency and optical homogeneity.

    Abstract: Described are a stick-shaped soil fumigant preparation and an application method therefor. The fumigant preparation comprises a water-soluble and/or biodegradable film and a soil sterilizer and/or nematocide hermetically packed in the form of a stick with the film. The soil sterilizer and nematocide are each in a liquid form at room temperature.The soil fumigant preparation according to the present invention remains suppressed in toxicity, volatility and irritation before application to the soil, but its active ingredient(s) are promptly released after application. In addition, the present invention makes it possible to provide a fumigant in such a form as permitting a substantial improvement in the efficiency of work by a fumigating worker and also to provide an effective application method therefor, without the need for any machine designed exclusively for fumigation.

A viewing-position tracking stereoscopic-display includes a viewing-position sensor, first and second order differentiators for differentiating positional information of the observer's viewing-position. Gain multipliers multiply the outputs of the differentiators. Band pass filters filter the outputs of the gain multipliers. A viewing-position tracker is driven by a viewing-position tracker driver according to the positional information compensated by adding the outputs of the band pass filters.
