  • Publication number: 20230069005
Abstract: A convoy forming unit uses driving control information collected from vehicles to determine a traveling order in a convoy of the vehicles so that vehicles that can be leading vehicles are disposed at a head of the convoy and an inside of the convoy. When notified of occurrence of a cut-in vehicle from any of the vehicles performing convoy travel in accordance with the traveling order, a convoy managing unit uses the driving control information to determine a new leading vehicle from among following vehicles, and divides the convoy into a first convoy ahead of the cut-in vehicle and a second convoy behind the cut-in vehicle. A convoy control unit notifies the new leading vehicle of traveling control information including an instruction to cause the cut-in vehicle to cut in front of the new leading vehicle and an instruction to be a leading vehicle of the second convoy.

  • Patent number: 9726095
Abstract: An engine-driven working machine including a controller by which a time period until the rotation speed limitation mode is canceled can be shortened. After a throttle valve is moved to a fully-closed position by an operation to allow the engine to finish the fast idling state and while the engine is transited to an idling state, the controller cancels the rotation speed limitation mode by detecting an event in which a cycle period of rotation speed variations of the engine is longer than a cycle period of rotation speed variation in the fast idling state.

  • Patent number: 8469001
Abstract: Problems: For enhanced safety of a work apparatus with an internal combustion engine, a cutting element is prevented from an accidental run due to an accidental increase of the engine revolution while a throttle control trigger is in a released state. Solution: In an engine start period, a throttle valve (10) is in a first idling position. The engine 2 at its initial run phase does not increase in revolution because of instability of its running condition. When the running condition begins to stabilize, the revolution rapidly increases. When the engine revolution (Ne) reaches 4,000 rpm or higher, a non-firing control mode is set up. In the non-firing control mode, when the engine revolution reaches or exceeds 4,500 rpm, a non-firing processing is executed (S4). A centrifugal clutch (6) is designed to engage at 5,000 rpm.

  • Patent number: 8161943
Abstract: A no-contact ignition control device includes a stop switch which maintains a second switching element at the OFF state so that an induced voltage of a trigger coil triggers a first switching element and shortcircuit a generation coil. A surge absorption element is connected in parallel to the stop switch. This configuration prevents intrusion of a surge current into the ignition control circuit caused by static electricity accumulated on the surface of casing covering electronic parts of the ignition control circuit and surely avoid dielectric breakdown of the electronic parts or malfunction of the circuit by the surge current.

  • Patent number: 7726181
Abstract: An ignition timing measuring and display device of an internal combustion engine (1) having a magneto (A) includes a reference RPM signal pulse detector (2) for detecting a reference RPM signal pulse of the internal combustion engine (1) and an ignition noise pulse detector (4) for detecting ignition noise of an electromagnetic wave generated in the vicinity of an ignition plug (3) when ignition is carried out in the internal combustion engine (1) and calculates ignition timing generated by the magneto (A) based on the signal pulse and the ignition noise pulse and displays it. Since the ignition timing of the internal combustion engine can be easily monitored, maintenance can be carried out to the internal combustion engine and an ignition device to realize a necessary operating performance of the internal combustion engine.
