  • Publication number: 20080210934
Abstract: Object: To provide a semiconductor device using titanium dioxide as an active layer and a method for producing thereof. Means for Solving the Problems: The semiconductor device 10 according to the present invention includes TiO2 as an active layer thereof. The semiconductor device 10 according to the present invention includes a gate electrode 20, a TiO2 layer 12 which functions as a semiconductor active layer and forming a channel, a source electrode and a drain electrode being electrically connected to the TiO2 layer, and an insulating film formed between the gate electrode and the TiO2 layer. The TiO2 layer 12 may be a single crystal substrate including a Rutile or Anatase structure which has a step-terrace structure. The TiO2 layer 12 may be a vapor deposition film of TiO2. Further the present invention provides a method for producing the semiconductor device using titanium dioxide as the active layer.

  • Patent number: 4813423
Abstract: Disclosed is an instrument for measuring living body components, which has (i) a fine tube having at one end thereof a connection portion to be connected to an indwelling needle or indwelling catheter and an infusion portion, from which at least a blood anticoagulant solution can be infused, (ii) a fine linear sensor for measuring living body components, extended from the inferior of the fine tube to the outside through the connection portion, and (iii) a mechanism for introducing blood at least into the interior of a fine tube portion of the indwelling needle or catheter intermittently or periodically when the indwelling needle or catheter is connected to the fine tube and kept in the blood vessel and then discharging blood into the blood vessel. A sensing portion of the sensor is located within the fine tube portion of the indwelling needle or catheter when the indwelling needle or catheter is connected to the connection portion of the fine tube.

  • Patent number: 4123426
Abstract: Foamable hydrolyzed proteins substantially free from lipid, nucleic acids, and nucleic acid related substances are obtained by decomposing microbial cells with an alkaline aqueous solution containing an alkaline earth metal hydroxide and an alkali metal hydroxide. The hydrolyzed proteins are useful as foaming agents, especially fire-extinguishing foams effective against fires of oils. The starting microbial cells are available at low cost in great quantities.
