    Abstract: A flexible magnetic disk drive includes interengaging members which necessitate a sequence of operations in use which assure proper disk positioning and avoid damage to the disk and magnetic head. The disk is clamped for rotation between a center pulley and a clutch plate which is compressed by a plate spring. A disk ejection mechanism is provided.
