  • Patent number: 5136748
Abstract: A mounting structure for a vehicle wiper having a wiper arm and a wiper blade connected to a tip of the wiper arm. The wiper arm has a curved portion formed by curving the tip of the wiper arm and a slot opened at a tip of the curved portion. The wiper blade has a clip formed as a body engaged by the curved portion, a pair of wall portions formed, one at each side of the body, a click engaged in the slot, and a lever. The lever is formed so as to be forced into the slot to force the side edges of the curved portion against the inner sides of the wall portions and to disengage the click from the slot through deformation of the clip by pressing the lever.

  • Patent number: 4972307
Abstract: A structure is provided for headlamps for vehicles, having a light source, a reflector, and a front lens in which the lens is slanted with respect to a vertical direction of a vehicle body, a rear surface of the lens is formed with a prism zone for forming a light diffusion zone on a light distribution pattern of a given screen and another prism zone for forming a hot zone on the distribution pattern, and the reflector is formed with a first reflecting surface which corresponds optically to the light diffusion zone forming prism zone and diffuses light beams emitted from the light source in a horizontal cross section with respect to an optical axis of the light source and reflects the light beams of the light source substantially in parallel to the optical axis in a vertical cross section and with a remaining reflecting surface substantially in the form of a paraboloid of revolution. Consequently, both ends of the light distribution pattern in the horizontal direction neither droop nor rise.

  • Patent number: 4916595
Abstract: A cabin light unit for an automotive vehicle includes a vanity mirror section arranged at a location adjoining a cabin light source. The vanity mirror section is pivotably supported on a supporting plate via a stay so as to be movable between a housed position in which the vanity mirror faces the supporting plate, and an operating position in which the vanity mirror section projects from the supporting plate. The stay has a plurality of pivotal axes so that any desired positioning and directional orientation of the vanity mirror can be achieved.
