  • Patent number: 7412194
Abstract: The present invention provides a developing apparatus that can effectively prevent generation of a ghost due to poor detachment of a developer after development, and generation of unevenness in density between a left part and a right part of an image region due to lack of an amount of the developer transported. The developing apparatus satisfies the relationship r+R?d?3r+R where r denotes a rotational radius of a second developer transporting screw, R denotes a rotational radius of a development roller, and d denotes a center distance between the second developer transporting screw and the development roller. The developing apparatus also satisfies the relationship M0?(mg0×v×l)/0.

  • Publication number: 20070166064
Abstract: An image output apparatus capable of controlling the image density for a specific level in a short time and with accuracy and no control failure. When the values of manipulated variables that are control parameters of the output image quality or a controlled variable are calculated and the parameter values become out of the practically settable range in the course of obtaining new manipulated variables adjusted for controlling the output image quality for a specific level, the image density control unit of the image output apparatus corrects the data in the image density database that are used for comparison in obtaining the parameter values according to the current environmental state and repeats the calculation, whereby no control failure occurs and optimum parameter values are obtained; consequently, the output image quality can be controlled for a target level in a stable manner.

  • Publication number: 20060285901
Abstract: An image forming apparatus that enables a document ejected after image information reading is finished, and a printed sheet on which an image has been formed based on this image information, to be removed easily while the distinction between the two is clearly maintained. According to an image forming apparatus (100) of the present invention, a sheet document S whose image information has been read is ejected onto a document ejection tray (145), and a sheet Ps on which image information has been recorded is ejected onto a sheet ejection tray (151), so as to be crosswise to each other. By this means, even though sheet document S and printed sheet Ps are removed in a mutually overlapping state, sheet document S and printed sheet Ps can be distinguished from each other since their directions of ejection are crosswise to each other.

  • Publication number: 20050286086
Abstract: An image output apparatus for controlling an output image stably. The image output apparatus comprises a database for storing data giving a relation between manipulated variables and a controlled variable for a reference pattern. The apparatus estimates sets of values of the manipulated variables used when outputting an image of the reference pattern, by using the data on the database to obtain values of the manipulated variables from a desired value for the reference pattern. By means of detected values for a plurality of images of the reference pattern outputted according to the estimated values of the manipulated variables, set values of the manipulated variables for the desired value is calculated.
