  • Publication number: 20090218386
Abstract: An object-to-be-soldered (92) is accommodated in a sealable chamber (17). An internal pressure (P) of the chamber (17) is raised to a normal pressure (Po) or higher by feeding a reducing gas to the chamber (17). A soldering of a semiconductor element (12) with respect to a circuit board (11) is carried out in the pressurized state. The pressurized state indicating a set pressure (P1) (for example, 0.13 MPa) is maintained in a solder melting period (t3 to t7) until the molten solder (33) is solidified (t7) after the solder (33) starts melting (t3). Accordingly, voids are inhibited from being generated in the solder after being solidified.

  • Patent number: 5588470
Abstract: A weft inserting device using a profiled reed for an air jet loom is equipped with a plurality of reed pieces each having a C-shaped guide notch. The line of guide notches forms a weft passage where weft injected from a main nozzle flies. Each guide notch has a upper wall parallel to the floor surface on which the device is placed, a deep wall perpendicular to this surface, a lower wall which gradually becomes wider toward an opening, an upper connecting portion which connects the upper wall to the deep wall, and a lower connecting portion which connects the deep wall to the lower wall. The radius of curvature of the upper connecting portion is set equal to or smaller than 1 mm, and the radius of curvature of the lower connecting portion is set greater than the radius of curvature of the upper connecting portion.

  • Patent number: 5323814
Abstract: A weft insertion device for a jet loom prevents weft the distal or leading end of the weft from being ejected from the weft passage before reaching the exit end of the passage in the reed, while improving the flying speed of a weft. The weft insertion device has a reed provided with a plurality of reed pieces (3A, 3B, 9A, 9B) having guide openings (4, 5, 14, 15) recessed in the front faces thereof. The wall portion of each guide opening of the reed has at least one wall surface (4b, 5b, 14e, 14g, 15e) provided to guide air flowing through a weft passage (S). The inclination angle of the wall surfaces (4b, 14e, 14g), provided at the wall portions of the guide openings of those reed pieces (3A, 9A) which are arranged in a first section (L1), located closer to a main nozzle, suppresses air leakage toward the opening side of the weft passage.

  • Patent number: 5024253
Abstract: A take-up rate and a let-off rate in warp feed on a loom are controlled while a displacement (.DELTA.L) of a cloth fell position C is taken into account. The system comprises a cloth fell position compensation circuit (2, 16, 21) which outputs a cloth fell compensation signal (.DELTA..omega..sub.c) to compenate a displacement (.DELTA.L) of the cloth fell position (C) when a weaving condition such as a target weft density (D*), a target warp tension (T*) or the kinds of weft and warp yarns is changed. The cloth fell compensation signal is added to a basic warp feed rate (.omega..sub.f) obtained from D*, so that the displacement motion of the cloth fell is completed in a shorter time. According to this compensation, a weft density of a resultant fabric rapidly coincides with the target weft density.

  • Patent number: 4538650
Abstract: A method for preparing weft supply to be picked upon starting the operation of a weaving loom, the weaving loom comprising a main motor for driving the weaving loom, a crank shaft driven by the main motor, a drum for measuring weft to be picked by a main air jet nozzle, a driving system of the weft measuring drum, and an auxiliary motor for driving the weft measuring drum. The method comprises releasing the normal connection between the driving system of the weft measuring drum and the main motor for driving the weaving loom so as to enable an auxiliary motor to drive the driving system of the weft measuring drum. The weft measuring drum is then positioned by the auxiliary motor at a position suitable for being threaded with the weft. The weft is then threaded onto the weft measuring drum, whereupon the weft measuring drum is driven by the auxiliary motor so as to store a predetermined amount of weft thereon.

  • Patent number: 4291528
Abstract: An open end spinning machine includes a plurality of spinning units, in each of which a sliver is opened by a carding roller and transported, in the form of individually opened fibers, into a spinning rotor through a fiber supply channel provided in a housing for the carding roller. The supply channel has a mouth opening towards the carding roller with a fiber separating edge, which is greatly subject to wear during operation of the spinning unit. A portion of the carding roller housing, which defines at least the fiber separating edge, is detachable from another portion of the housing and is urged in a predetermined direction by a biassing spring so that any undesirable clearance, which would be produced between the portions of the housing by structurally separating them from each other, can substantially removed.

  • Patent number: 4149365
Abstract: An open end spinning machine includes a row of spinning rotors each connected to spindles rotatably supported in their predetermined axial position by associated twin-disk mechanisms and driven by a belt moving across the spindles. When the spindle is subjected to an external axial force in either of opposite axial directions due to disturbance of a right-angled relationship between the belt and the spindle, an arrangement according to the invention causes the spindle to be subjected to a force, the direction of which is directly opposite to and the strength of which is in proportion to that external axial force due to the disturbance of the right-angled relationship, whereby the spindle is maintained in the predetermined axial position.
