    Abstract: A motorcycle has an article storage box equipped with a lid member which is locked and unlocked and with a fuel tank having a gasoline injection port which is closed or opened by a lid member. The locking and unlocking of the lid members of the storage box and the fuel tank injection port are controlled by an electric circuit system. The electric circuit system includes a battery, a main switch unit operatively connected to the battery, a solenoid switch connected to the main switch unit for carrying out an on-off operation to the lid locking and unlocking mechanism for the fuel tank injection port lid, and a solenoid switch connected to the main switch unit for carrying out an on-off operation to the lid locking and unlocking mechanism for the storage box.

    Abstract: An oil tank device mounted upon the body frame of a motorcycle provided with a head pipe and other frame members for storing engine oil therein comprises a tank rail connected to the head pipe and provided with an inner hollow portion, a down tube connected to the head pipe so as to extend downwardly and also encompass an inner hollow portion, a bridge frame connected to the tank rail and down tube and provided with an inner hollow portion, and front reinforcements connected to both bilateral sides of the tank rail. The down tube and the bridge frame partially define an inner space between the front reinforcements and the inner space formed by means of front reinforcements communicates with the respective inner hollow portions of the tank rail, the down tube and the bridge frame. The lower end portions of the tank rail and the down tube have wall thicknesses which are gradually increased in the downward direction.

    Abstract: A new and unique saddle-riding type motorcar having four wheels comprising two front wheels and two rear wheels, wherein each of the front and rear wheels has a balloon tire mounted thereon and only the front wheels are rotatably supported on axles in such a manner as to turn in both directions relative to the longitudinal axis of the motorcar and the latter is steered by steering the front wheels by means of a bar handle constituting a steering mechanism.
