  • Publication number: 20190184425
Abstract: A linear actuator includes a movable element, a stationary element provided with a case in which the movable element is housed, and a magnetic drive mechanism that drives the movable element in a direction of an axis line. In the case, there is provided a sounding hole in a bottom plate part, at the other side in the direction of the axis line; the sounding hole being for discharging a pressure change in accordance with a vibration of the movable element in the direction of the axis line, as an audible level sound. Therefore, at a time when the movable element is vibrated in the direction of the axis line by the magnetic drive mechanism, the vibration is transferred to a user. Accordingly, information can be transferred by way of the vibration. Moreover, the information can also be transferred by way of the sound.

  • Publication number: 20190190365
Abstract: Provided is a linear actuator including a movable element, a stationary element, a magnetic drive mechanism configured to linearly move the movable element in a first direction with respect to the stationary element, and damper member arranged between the movable element and the stationary element. The magnetic drive mechanism includes a coil holder arranged on the stationary element, a coil supported by a coil supporting unit of the coil holder, a first yoke arranged on the movable element, and a first permanent magnet held by the first yoke. The damper member is arranged in a portion where the first yoke and the coil holder face each other in the second direction. As a result, the damper member can be arranged between the stationary element and the movable element without using a case.

  • Publication number: 20190184424
Abstract: A vibration generating device that can make a relatively heavy vibration member produce sufficient vibration. A vibration generating device has: a vibration member; multiple actuators that are connected to the vibration member; and a stationary element that supports the vibration member via the multiple actuators. Each of the multiple actuators comprises: a supporting body to which the vibration member is fixed; a movable element; a first elastic member that is connected to the supporting body and the movable element; and a magnetic drive circuit (a first magnetic drive circuit and a second magnetic drive circuit) that makes the movable element move linearly back and forth relative to the supporting body. The multiple actuators are supported by the stationary element via a second elastic member. The first elastic member and the second elastic member comprise a gelatinous silicone gel or the like.

  • Publication number: 20190182601
Abstract: A linear actuator may include a movable element having a plurality of permanent magnets stacked in a direction of an axis line; a stationary element comprising a plurality of coils surrounding a circumferential section of the permanent magnets, the plurality of coils being placed along the axis line; and viscous elastic members inserted between the movable element and the stationary element. The plurality of permanent magnets are arranged such that, among adjacent permanent magnets of the plurality of permanent magnets, sides of the adjacent permanent magnets facing each other have a same polarity. The viscous elastic members are provided at a plurality of locations being separate in the direction of the axis line, in a space sandwiched in a radial direction by the movable element and the stationary element.

  • Publication number: 20190070635
Abstract: This application provides an actuator capable of causing vibrations in multiple directions to a movable body. For instance, an actuator has a supporting body, a movable body, and a connecting body connected to the movable body and the supporting body. Between the supporting body and the movable body, a first coil and a second coil are stacked in two stages in the first direction, and a first magnet and a second magnet are placed on both ends of each of the first coil and the second coil stacked in two stages in the first direction in a first magnetic drive circuit. The first magnetic drive circuit is provided at two positions separated in the second direction. Between the first magnetic drive circuits separated in the second direction, a stopper mechanism is formed to restrict the movable range of the movable body in the direction perpendicular to the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20180294690
Abstract: A linear actuator may include a stationary element a movable element a magnetic drive mechanism structured to linearly drive the movable element in a driving direction relative to the stationary element and a gel damper member provided between the stationary element and the movable element. The gel damper member may be held between a first part in the stationary element that faces in a direction perpendicular to the driving direction and a second part in the movable element that faces the first part in a direction perpendicular to the driving direction.
