  • Publication number: 20050025813
Abstract: Disclosed is a keratin layer improving laminated sheet comprising a fixing adhesive sheet having an adhesive layer on an adhesive sheet substrate and a moisture retaining pad having a moisturizing agent-containing polymer layer on a pad substrate, said moisture retaining pad being fixed to the fixing adhesive sheet in such a manner that the pad substrate of the moisture retaining pad is in contact with the adhesive layer of the fixing adhesive sheet, wherein in 100% by weight of the moisturizing agent-containing polymer layer, glycerol as a moisturizing agent is contained in an amount of 25 to 55% by weight and moisturizing agents including glycerol are contained in a total amount of 30 to 60% by weight.

  • Patent number: 6562357
Abstract: A blackhead removing agent, a blackhead removing sheet and a method for producing the blackhead removing sheet are disclosed. The blackhead removing sheet comprises a base layer which is composed of a nonwoven fabric having the fineness of 0.0001 denier or more but less than 0.1 denier, and a blackhead removing layer consisting of the blackhead removing agent that contains a water-soluble macromolecular compound as a primary component. The blackhead removing agent comprises a water-soluble macromolecular compound, a filler, and a plasticizer that is compatible with the water-soluble macromolecular compound. The amount of the plasticizer in the blackhead removing agent is less than 0.01 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the water-soluble macromolecular compound. The water-soluble macromolecular compound preferably includes a copolymer of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and vinyl acetate as a primary component.

  • Patent number: 6190683
Abstract: A blackhead-removing face pack sheet with superior ease of use and blackhead-removing capacity is provided. The blackhead-removing face pack sheet 1 is formed from a laminate which comprises a gas-permeable and flexible base layer 2 and a pack material layer 3 the primary component of which is a copolymer of vinyl acetate and N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone. The base layer 2 comprises a porous material such as a nonwoven fabric, and part of it is impregnated or embedded with the pack material constituting the pack material layer 3. This gives a high force of adhesion between the base layer 2 and the pack material layer 3.

  • Patent number: 5173189
Abstract: A membrane for the separation of an organic solvent from a water-organic solvent mixture has a polymeric membrane of a copolymer consisting essentially of an .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated carbonyl compound as a main monomer. The .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated carbonyl compound includes an acrylic acid ester or a methacrylic acid ester. The polymeric membrane has a crosslinked structure. The polymeric membrane is carried on a support member in the form of a flat membrane, a pipe or a hollow fiber. The polymeric member includes particles therein. The polymeric membrane is sandwiched by the support members to form a composite-type separation membrane. The composite-type separation membrane is modulated.
