  • Publication number: 20110242213
Abstract: The ink jet recording method includes performing printing by depositing droplets of an ink composition ejected from the ink ejection nozzles on a recording medium transported in the direction perpendicular to the nozzle alignment direction in such a manner that the droplets ejected from at least one ink ejection nozzle located at an end of each of ink jet heads adjacent to each other in the direction perpendicular to the nozzle alignment direction are deposited one on the other. The volume of droplet ejected from the ink ejection nozzle at the end of the ink jet head is smaller than the volume of ink droplet ejected from each of the other ink ejection nozzles of the ink jet head, and the ink composition has a yield value of 0.50 to 2.00 mPa.

  • Publication number: 20090243356
Abstract: A seat control device has a first input unit for performing an operation of moving a first seat to a front side or a back side, a first drive control unit for moving the first seat to the front side or the back side based on an output of the first input unit, a second input unit for performing an operation of moving a second seat, positioned behind the first seat, to the front side or the back side, and a second drive control unit for moving the second seat to the front side or the back side based on an output of the second input unit. A control unit is arranged for prohibiting movement of the first seat and the movement of the second seat from being simultaneously carried out when the operation to move the first seat to the back side is performed at the first input unit and the operation to move the second seat to the front side is performed at the second input unit.

  • Patent number: 5789359
Abstract: The detergent of this invention, directed to the cleaning of an object having a gap portion at least in part thereof, contains at least one of components of the detergent having a solubility parameter difference of not more than 3 from and a contact angle within 15.degree. with at least one of components of a smear on the object. The detergent provides an ideal cleaning for the object because it easily permeates into and dissolves the machining oil filling the gaps between closely cohering thin metallic strips. The method of cleaning according to the invention has first cleaning the object with a polar detergent and then rinsing and drying the cleaned object with a detergent having low polarity or no polarity. In the precision cleaning of such objects as electronic parts, therefore, it manifests satisfactory cleaning and drying properties.

  • Patent number: 5779843
Abstract: In a method of fusion welding resin articles difficult to melt due to a fusion retarder present in the articles in the form of a fusion retarding element or structure, the articles having surface portions in contact with each other so as to be bonded one to another, a fusion accelerator is applied to the surface portions, with the accelerator being capable of destroying the fusion retarder when heated. After or simultaneously with this step, the resin articles are heated so that the fusion accelerator destroys the fusion retarder, so as to cause the surface portions to melt, before finally allowing the resin articles to cool down.

  • Patent number: 5743989
Abstract: Plastics sheets having edges to be bonded one to another as well as a plastics joint having at least two weldable regions are prepared, each region having an embedded wire extending along the region. Subsequently, the plastics sheet edges are placed on or in the weldable regions, and an electric current is supplied through the wires to emit heat for fusion bonding each edge to the corresponding weldable region. Alternatively, each of the plastics sheets has at least one edge having an embedded wire so that they are welded to each other, without aid of any joint. The joint has U-shaped grooves or ear-shaped protrusions adapted to engage with the plastics sheet edges, and the wires are embedded in the grooves or protrusions.

  • Patent number: 5500510
Abstract: A method of automatically controlling the fusion process of thermoplastic resin articles is done in a stepwise fashion. In response to a start signal, a current is applied to an electrical resistance heating element for fusing together facing resin surfaces. Electrical characteristics of the resistance heating element are calculated upon increase of the power to a given level and the specific heat of the resin is calculated through ON-OFF control of the resistance heating element. The power is then raised through stages based on the electrical characteristics of the resistance heating element and the specific heat to determine variation coefficients of the characteristics and specific heat at each stage and through further ON-OFF control. Finally, the power increase is stopped as the variation coefficient of specific heat reaches or becomes smaller than a given value.
