  • Publication number: 20170231511
Abstract: A measuring apparatus for measuring skin perfusion pressure of an examined region in a subject, the measuring apparatus including: a measuring device configured to measure blood flow in the examined region; a detection unit configured to detect a height of the examined region; and a processing unit configured to determine the skin perfusion pressure of the examined region on the basis of a change in the blood flow in the examined region measured by the measuring device with the height of the examined region being changed and the height of the examined region being detected by the detection unit.

  • Patent number: 5647359
Abstract: Light components are radiated into a blood vessel from light-emitting diodes (17, 18) for emitting light components having different wavelengths through an optical fiber. Bight components reflected by the blood upon radiation into the blood vessel are received by a photo transistor (19) to detect their reflected light intensities. For example, a minimum value of the reflected light intensity of the light component from the light-emitting diode (18) is obtained from the reflected light intensities detected within a predetermined period of time. A measurement value is calculated using this minimum value and a minimum value of the reflected light intensity of the light component from the corresponding light-emitting diode (17).

  • Patent number: 5373850
Abstract: A flow-velocity sensor probe includes a thermistor for generating heat which is placed in a fluid, and a waterproof resin and a metal piece for easily radiating the heat generated by the thermistor. The flow velocity of the fluid is measured continuously from a change of temperature in the thermistor, and the thermistor is provided in close proximity to the metal piece for transmitting the heat to the fluid.
