  • Patent number: 10960673
Abstract: An inkjet printer collects ink mist, and eliminates the necessity of frequent filter cleaning and replacement. Vents are on an upstream side in a conveying direction of a printing medium of the print heads of a printing part, blowout air volume of the respective vents can be adjusted, collection ports are on a downstream side in the conveying direction of the printing medium of the respective print heads, suction air volume of the collection ports can be adjusted, and an ink mist collecting parts are each provided which liquefies and collects ink mist contained in air sucked from any one of the collection ports while the air passes through filters. The blowout air volumes of the respective print heads and the suction air volumes are set to air volumes according to amounts of generated ink mist, and ink mist is collected according to differences in amounts of generated ink mist.

  • Patent number: 9592985
Abstract: An arm for guiding paper fed along a paper feed path is swingably supported at its base end portion on one side of the winding core. The arm is provided with a free roll, on which the paper is guided to pass onto the winding core. At its free end portion, the arm has a roller rotatably mounted thereon which constitutes a body of rotation contacting with the paper roll so that with the winding core rotated and with the roller pressed against the paper roll the paper may be wound up into the paper roll on the rotating winding core without the occurrence of a paper winding wrinkle, whereby with a distance held constant at all times between the feed roll and the roller along a paper winding path, paper winding without such wrinkling can be achieved to yield a paper roll that is large in its maximum diameter.

  • Patent number: 8886104
Abstract: A fixing apparatus includes a fixing drum having a heating heater internally equipped therein, the fixing drum positioned spaced part and downstream from a sheet delivery site at a downstream-most side of printing units and is adapted to rotate at a peripheral speed identical to a speed of travel of the sheet of paper. A first sprocket is positioned adjoining the sheet delivery site at the downstream-most side of the printing units, and a second sprocket is positioned coaxially with the fixing drum and being adapted to rotate integrally with the fixing drum. A conveyer chain having a gripper is wound around and engaging with the first and second sprockets to wind and convey a sheet of paper on a peripheral surface of the fixing drum upon gripping in turn with the gripper the sheet of paper traveling from the sheet delivery site at the downstream-most side.
