In the printed matter in which a print surface of a medium is decorated by applying a powdery decorative body on the print surface of the medium, an application region of the powdery decorative body on the print surface of the medium is colored by a color that is the same or similar to a color of the powdery decorative body. Due to this, in the printed matter, in the case of drawing a letter or a drawing and the like on the print surface of the medium using the powdery decorative body, the entire image and the contours of the letter or the drawing and the like can be made clear by the color given to the application region for the powdery decorative body.
