C. or higher and a glass transition temperature of 10.degree. C. or higher with an diisocyanate compound in a overall NCO/OH ratio of 1.6 to 3.0, and (B) a urethane prepolymer comprising a soft segment moiety and having an isocyanate group at the terminus which is prepared by reacting a polyol having a molecular weight of not more than 8,000 with a diisocyanate compound in an NCO/OH ratio of 1.6 to 3.0, said component (A) and component (B) being mixed in a ratio of 10:90 to 90:10 by weight.

    Abstract: A moisture-curable hot-melt adhesive composition comprising a reaction product obtainable by reacting (A) a mixture of (a) a high molecular weight thermoplastic polyester component predominantly composed of a hydroxy-terminated high molecular weight polyester containing a hydrocarbon chain with a molecular weight of 600 to 6,000 and having a molecular weight of 8,000 to 25,000 and (b) a low molecular weight polyol having a molecular weight of not more than 5,000 with (B) a polyisocyanate compound in an NCO/OH ratio of 1.4 through 3.This moisture-curable hot-melt adhesive composition is useful for the adhesion at a low temperature, and shows an excellent heat resistance and initial physical properties.

    Abstract: An improved method for the production of a laminated product of porous materials, which comprises applying a two-part aqueous adhesive comprising(A) a main composition comprising a water-soluble urethane prepolymer and a polyurethane rubber, and(B) a curing composition comprising water and optionally a conventional curing agent,to the surface of at least one of materials to be adhered, wherein at least one of the materials to be adhered is a porous material, and piling up the materials and then pressing. Said two-part aqueous adhesive has excellent adhesion, particularly initial adhesion, and hence can give the desired laminated products by pressing the piled materials for a very short period of time, and the laminated products have excellent feeling and handling and are useful as a material for seats in automobiles, offices, etc., carpets, cushions, and the like.

    Abstract: A polyurethane resin composition, which comprises (A) a urethane prepolymer composition containing 0.5 to 15.0% by weight of an active isocyanate group which is prepared by reacting a polyoxyalkylene ether polyol and/or polyester polyol and an excess amount of a polyisocaylante compound, and (B) as an adhesion-promoting agent 0.05 to 5.0% by weight of a reaction product of an amine compound containing at least one alkoxysilyl group of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are each a alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is 0, 1 or 2, and an excess amount of a carbonyl compound. Said polyurethane resin composition has excellent adhesion properties and can show also excellent adhesiveness to metals which are hardly adhered with the conventional compositions and is useful as an adhesive, sealant and coating agent in various technical fields.

    Abstract: An improved curable epoxy resin composition comprising an epoxy resin and vulcanized rubber particles having a particle size of 0.5 to 30.mu. which are obtained by vulcanizing a dispersion of fine particles of a liquid rubber incompatible with the epoxy resin in the epoxy resin with a vulcanizing agent, and a method for the preparation of the same. The curable epoxy resin composition has excellent flexibility, mechanical strength and peel strength when cured with a curing agent, and is useful as an adhesive, coating material or molding material.
