  • Patent number: 9676400
Abstract: Provided is a guide device for a rail-guided vehicle that is guided to travel along a travel track, the guide device including: guide wheels that roll in contact with guide rails arranged on both sides of the travel track; steering arms that steer the vehicle; guide wheel support members; and shock-absorbing members. One end of each guide wheel support member is supported at the tip end of a steering arm with shock-absorbing members interposed therebetween, and the other end of each guide wheel support member rollably supports a main guide wheel and a diverging guide wheel. The shock-absorbing members are disposed between each guide wheel support member and the corresponding steering arm, and mitigate the impact load transmitted from the guide wheels to the steering arms.

  • Publication number: 20140127411
Abstract: To fabricate a metal-supported nano-graphite with easy processing. The invention includes the steps of: using carbon nanowalls formed on a substrate to produce carbon nanowall pieces which are each composed of one or plural nano-graphite domains smaller than the carbon nanowalls; mixing metal to be supported with a liquid in which the produced carbon nanowall pieces are dispersed; and injecting a reducing agent into the liquid containing the carbon nanowall pieces and metal to cause the metal to be supported on the carbon nanowall pieces.

  • Patent number: 8327772
Abstract: A bogie for a low floor type railway vehicle, in which the accuracy of the distance between left and right wheels is enhanced and which enables a vehicle body to be low-floored. The bogie has a bogie frame for supporting the body of the railway vehicle, a main axle and an auxiliary axle arranged so as to laterally extend at the front and rear in the traveling direction of the bogie frame, wheels attached to both the left and right sides of each of the axles, shaft boxes attached to both the left and right sides of each of the axles and supporting the axle, and shaft box support devices respectively supporting each of the shaft boxes by elastically joining the shaft boxes and the bogie frame together. The wheels attached to the main axle are large-diameter wheels, and the wheels attached to the auxiliary axle are small-diameter wheels having a smaller diameter than the large-diameter wheels.

  • Patent number: 8246926
Abstract: A needle crystal in the form of a capsule comprising fullerene molecules such as C60 and a C60 platinum derivative and having a hollow portion (a fullerene shell capsule) is provided. The fullerene shell capsule which has been prepared by the liquid-liquid interface precipitation method, which comprises (1) a step in which a solution containing a first solvent dissolving fullerene therein is combined with a second solvent in which the solubility of fullerene is lower than in the above first solvent; (2) a step in which a liquid-liquid interface is formed between the above solution and the above second solvent; and (3) a step in which a carbon fine wire is precipitated on the above liquid-liquid interface, has a novel characteristic in its form and can be used as a catalyst supporting material, a raw material for a plastic composite material, a storage material for gas such as hydrogen, a catalyst for fuel cell, or the like.
