  • Patent number: 8931818
Abstract: Total four notched portions, two for each of both edges, are formed in a lateral leg to which a tensile load is applied when an assist grip is normally used. In an extending direction of the lateral leg, a position of the notched portion and a position of the notched portion are different from each other. Therefore, if excessive impact force is applied to the assist grip and a compression load is applied to the lateral leg, the notched portion is bent and the lateral leg buckles while being twisted. In this case, as compared to a case where the legs buckle by being bent so that the legs are overlapped with each other, the impact force is effectively absorbed.

  • Publication number: 20140375648
Abstract: The image display system includes a calculation unit, a specifying unit, a generation unit and a transmitting unit. Upon change of a zoom level of a current image not containing position information to a specified value on a user terminal, the calculation unit calculates a display range of an object represented by the current image after change in zoom level. The specifying unit refers to data of a different image of the object and specifies a part of the different image indicated by the display range calculated by the calculation unit. The different image has a different resolution from the current image. The generation unit generates a next image representing the part specified by the specifying unit using the data of the different image. The transmitting unit transmits the next image to the user terminal for switching from the current image to the next image.

  • Patent number: 8564709
Abstract: Selection candidates for number of imaging pixels and for an image compression rate are displayed in a two-dimensional arrangement on a setting screen for setting an image quality, and combinations of selectable number of image pixels and a compression rate can be presented to a user. An instruction for moving a cursor which displays a selected position on the screen is received, and a setting can be changed to a number of pixels and a compression rate which are pointed by the cursor after a position of the cursor is designated. More specifically, numbers of pixels to be selected are 2400×1800, 1280×960, and 640×480, and compression rates to be selected are Fine, Normal, and Basic. When the user selects the number of pixels, candidates of the selectable compression rate for the number of pixels are displayed.
