  • Patent number: 7360949
Abstract: The present invention is intended to readily move a transfer board from a stretcher to a radiographic table and to efficiently achieve radiography. The transfer board moved from the stretcher is borne by an intermediate table. The transfer board borne by the intermediate table is moved to the radiographic table by an intermediate table mover, and then borne by the radiographic table.

  • Patent number: 7082189
Abstract: An X-ray distribution adjusting filter apparatus for supplying a desired X-ray intensity distribution or adjusting the X-ray distribution to a desired profile, the bowtie filter as the X-ray distribution adjusting filter apparatus has a fixed section having a base portion and inclined portions, first and second movable sections configured to be tiltable pivoting on a center point, and first and second deformable sections whose cavities defined by the fixed section, the movable sections and an expansible bellows is to be filled with fluid, wherein the inclined faces of the fixed section and the flat faces of the movable sections are caused to approach or move away from each other by the tilting of the movable sections pivoting on the center point to vary the quantity of the fluid in the cavities of the movable sections, and to vary the sectional shape of the X-ray absorbing portion of the bowtie filter.

  • Publication number: 20060104422
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to concurrently perform the horizontal movements of a cradle and a table in a desirable manner and to desirably prevent interference of the table with a gantry. A microprocessor controls and interlocks a horizontal cradle movement mechanism and a horizontal table movement mechanism. The microprocessor concurrently performs the horizontal movements of the cradle and table. If an operator tries to vary a table height or a tilt angle, the microprocessor performs arithmetic operations to check if the table will interfere with the gantry at a current scan-time position, at which the table should be located during scanning, in the varied state. If the interference is predicted, the table is pulled out of the bore of the gantry until it reaches a position at which the table will not interfere with the gantry.

  • Patent number: 6452999
Abstract: In order to reduce artifacts entering an X-ray tomographic image of a subject in performing a scan at an end portion of a cradle, and offer a reliable diagnosis environment, the cradle has a top surface forming a concave curve as viewed from the front, and has a generally bowl-like shape in a cross section as viewed from the carrying direction. The cradle further has a shape at its end portion which, when points at the same position with respect to the carrying direction on two peripheries along which the top surface and two lateral sides abut are represented as Points A and B, and a point at the center position on a minimal curve connecting Points A and B is represented as Point C, is cut in a plane passing through Points A and C, and through a Point F for descending the plane in a direction opposite to the carrying direction, and which is cut in a plane passing through Points B and C, and through a Point G for descending the plane in a direction opposite to the carrying direction.
