  • Publication number: 20240124114
Abstract: An outboard motor includes an engine, a fuel pump to draw fuel into an outboard motor body from a fuel tank installed on a hull, a temporary storage tank to temporarily store the fuel drawn into the outboard motor body by the fuel pump, a fuel injector to inject the fuel stored in the temporary storage tank into the engine, a temperature sensor on the temporary storage tank to detect a temperature of the fuel stored in the temporary storage tank, and a controller configured or programmed to perform a control to limit an engine speed to no more than a predetermined upper limit rotation speed based on a detection result of the temperature sensor while the engine is running.

  • Patent number: 6557533
Abstract: An engine includes an air induction system, a fuel supply system, a lubrication system and a ventilation system. The fuel supply system has a fuel reservoir in which a space for fuel vapors is defined. The lubrication system lubricates a component of the engine with lubricant. The ventilation system couples a crankcase of the engine with the air induction system so as to deliver oil vapors in the crankcase to the air induction system. A fuel vapor passage is arranged to couple the space of the fuel reservoir with the ventilation system.

  • Patent number: 6077983
Abstract: A method for recovering the activity of a ruthenium catalyst which comprises a step of bringing a ruthenium catalyst decreased in activity by its use in hydrogenation of an unsaturated organic compound into contact with oxygen in a liquid phase, and a step of maintaining the catalyst at a hydrogen partial pressure lower than that at the hydrogenation and a temperature not lower than a temperature lower by 50.degree. C. than the hydrogenation temperature.
